oh god not the bread

Summary: Minato found two loaves of bread! Unfortunately, hellhounds are on the loose.
Warnings: Eventual hellhounds related violence. Hopefully no bread burning.

[It’s a pleasant surprise when he found the two loaves of bread. Despite his hunger, he picks them up carefully and holds them in one arm. With his free hand, he breaks a small piece and has a taste test.

So far, it’s safe. That means he can share the bread with the others.

But he have to find them first, and without using the network to send a message. Using both of his arms to carry the bread loaves, he quickly makes his way to his dorm room. He needs a moment to ready himself before finding anyone else.

Grrrr…

The sound of growling. He slows down and carefully looks around for the source. A monster? That would mean fighting them off without damaging the bread.

Grrrr...

The hellhounds move, until they see...no, smell him and make their moves. Minato turns and make a run for it.]

[When he made it, Minato looks behind him and wait for the other boy.]

Suzaku-san!

[Despite the rain slowly soaking the bread loaves, he ignore that out of concern for his friend.]

Are you okay?

[He ran out into the rain, the hell hounds finally turned back not risking the water. Suzaku gritted his teeth against the pain in his arm, pulling away the material from around the burn, careful not to touch the injury itself, the skin was blistered but intact; he was lucky. He would need to get to the infirmary though, he had no medical supplies of his own and he couldn't risk infection.] I'm fine Minato.

[evokingfool]

...Let me ease the pain.

[If he can't heal the burn away completely, Minato can at least try to make it easier for Suzaku. Until they can treat the burn properly.

After shifting the breads, his right hand is free to draw his evoker and summon a Persona. Throne appears and cast Mediarahan, the healing spell glowing over both of them.]

[Suzaku blinked warily when Minato drew his evoker, he knew the creatures, that were apparantly manfiestations of them themselves could fight but that was all he had seen them do. He was used to Jin's creature attacking him and so it took him by surprise when the pain faded.] Th... thank you...

[He blinked again, looking at his arm and back to Minato; not quite sure why he would do such a thing.]

[He lowered his evoker and look at Suzaku's arm, stepping closer to examine it.]

...We still need to treat it.

[There are some things healing spells can't completely restore.]

[Suzaku let him look at it and nodded] I will go to the infirmary...

[evokingfool]

I'll come with you.

[swordofzero]

[Suzaku nodded] Thank you [He began making his way carefully down the steps, slippery from the rain.]

[Minato walks by Suzaku's side, looking around carefully for monsters. After a moment, he hold out the bread loaves to Suzaku.] Would you mind carrying them for now?

[swordofzero]

[Suzaku nodded, though he could still fight it was probably better for the moment that Minato took care of anything, he took the loaves blinking a moment when he realised what it was.] Bread? How... [How had he got bread in a tower with no food...]

[evokingfool]

I found them. [That is all. And he also adds.] They're safe to eat, too.

[In other words, Minato tried a small piece, which Suzaku might see at one of the loave's end. A small part is missing.]

[swordofzero]

[Found them... how strange... But Minato seemed well enough and Suzaku nodded] You are lucky.

[evokingfool]

[He nods.] I am. [He really is, but Minato doesn't think of it. Only of others.]

[swordofzero]

[Suzaku nodded and followed him down the stairs.] Strange that they were here though, I thought all our captives were busy with their competition...

[evokingfool]

It makes me wonder...either they spare the time to give food, or there's another reasons.

[He looks around, in case there's monsters nearby.]

[swordofzero]

If they wished to give us food why not just stock the kitchens.... There's probably another reason...
