[ oh gosh, she gets a little blushy now.. they're just going to end up complimenting each other into forever like this, huh? ]

It means a lot to me when it's you saying it..

omg i forgot i had a bunch of icons of him rolling around in his cape like this

[Knowing these two, yes.]

It does?
chainsawn: (you're my head)

LFMAO SHIT THAT ICON IS SO MOE...

[personal profile] chainsawn 2012-07-04 10:49 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. Because Kidou-kun is someone who's so amazing to me, and.. [ she isn't sure how to word it - it might sound too clingy if she tells the truth, since she's so easily attached to people, right? but.. ] .. someone important to me.

ISN'T IT

[Oh no, he thought he was done with the blushing but nope, his face is starting to get pretty red. It's not often that he hears things like that, after all.]

...really? [He.. doesn't know what else to say. Usually it goes without saying that he's important to others like his sister or his soccer team but when it's actually brought to attention, he's a bit at a lost for words or he changes the subject to something more pressing at the time.]
chainsawn: (you think; you think)

I CAN'T HANDLE IT

[personal profile] chainsawn 2012-07-04 02:07 pm (UTC)(link)
.. Y-.. yes, really. [ It's somewhat awkward to repeat it, but she does all the same - nodding her head a little to herself. ]

That's.. not a bad thing, is it?

BUT YOU MUST HANDLE IT BECAUSE I HAVE MORE

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-07-04 02:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Ah no, not at all. [He hesitates before speaking again]

...I'm just... not that used to hearing things like that, that's all.
chainsawn: (when the cracks begin to show)

KEEP THOSE ICONS WHERE THEY BELONG

[personal profile] chainsawn 2012-07-04 02:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Why not? [ she sounds a little genuinely surprised. ] I thought everyone would find you as amazing as I do, and.. when someone is nice and amazing to you, you'd easily find them important, right?

YOU MEAN KEEP USING THEM? OK

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-07-04 02:56 pm (UTC)(link)
It goes unsaid that my friends and I find each other important, so it's not often that we verbally say it.

[A pause] I'm more used to others telling me things like that I'm a genius or that I'm perfect. [That last part is said with a little emphasis, almost as if he doesn't particularly like being called perfect.]
chainsawn: (it's making my heart sink)

[personal profile] chainsawn 2012-07-04 03:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[ She does pick up on it, even if it just makes her frown a little - does that mean the way she talks about him might bother him too? She thinks he's great too, after all, but.. ]

That's a bad thing?

[personal profile] pengeen 2012-07-04 03:17 pm (UTC)(link)
[He closes his eyes for a moment and sighs] No, don't worry about it.

[Throughout Kidou's life, he had to live up to his father and Kageyama's expectations. Those expectations were higher then most, he had to be in the absolute top. Perfect, intelligent, a good leader, these things were what he was expected to be. One little percent off a test would get his father angry, if he tripped up during practice, Kageyama would look down upon him. Because of the pressure of this, words like "amazing" or "absolute best" had not much meaning to them, they were simply something Kidou had to be.

He didn't get praise for things people normally would, either, because why praise someone for being what you expected them to be? That would be like telling a dog "good job" for simply being your dog.]
