Characters: Tavros and
towerofanimus!
Setting: Nighttime, wandering the tower in various places, stairwells.
Format: Starting with action, but I can match!
Summary: Tavros doesn't want to stay cooped up in his room, but it's probably a stupid idea to leave at the same time.
Warnings: There will be death!
[Tavros had been taking the chance, honestly, when he had decided to start wandering around the darkened corridors that made up the tower at the moment. He couldn't stay in his room, though, even if there was some light in there. Being cooped up in there wasn't something he could do, even if he had his Fiduspawn cards with him and that would've been enough to entertain him for a short while, at least.
So! There's a young troll boy that's cautiously walking through the halls. He might be trying to find the source of everything, too, but with no success. He keeps hearing the voices of his friends, but he's so sure they aren't there-- at least, he thinks. One of them could've arrived and he hadn't seen them yet because everyone was so preoccupied with the issues they were facing now.
Either way, there is a thirteen-year-old troll boy cautiously moving through the hallways and up and down the stairwells-- anyone want to talk to him? He's trying to be brave, even if he thinks it's fake bravery. ]

He immediately goes on the defensive and realizes that it probably wasn't smart of him to do something like this, honestly, considering that he didn't have his lance, and he hadn't done anything with his Fiduspawn yet. He was decent at avoiding the phantoms, though. Making sure to never get too close to something that he didn't know.]
I'm, trying to be brave, and, have some confidence, even if it's kind of fake.
no subject
[She glances behind her, because she swears she just saw the body of something large lurking around the corner. But no, it's just her imagination. It has to be.]
Fake confidence is still what it is! Fake. Fakey fakey fake.
[Ugh, it's not her intention to antagonize and bait him, but it's distracting from the shadows that keep seem to be shifting. Something just beyond the periphery of her vision. It's what she knows to fall back on.]
no subject
I don't, think it's as fake as you think it is, even if it's still, sort of fake.
no subject
[She rolls her dice between her fingers, cocking her head to the side as she looks between Tavros and those shadows that are definitely moving now.]
What are you going to do if you run into trouble? Scream and hope one of your humans comes running?
no subject
Err, run, I guess, since I'm not, trying to fight them.
no subject
[There's a bitterness there in her words, and her feet slide into an offense stance. Whether she's planning to go after him or anything that may jump out, well- that's a mystery, isn't it?]
You're so pathetic it's embarrassing.
no subject
[At her shift in position, he shifts a bit too. A bit more defensive than what he was initially. He doesn't want to fight if he can help it.]
no subject
[Frowning at him. This is frustrating. This isn't what she should be doing. Isn't what she wants to be doing.]
So are you gonna abscond now? Is that your next move?
[Taking a step toward him.]
no subject
he will notice something behind Vriska. It's like something is getting nearer, no matter what, and his eyes are no longer focused on Vriska.]
no subject
Better run awaaaaaaaay, Tavros! You're totally outmatched here.
no subject
It might be, a good idea if you left too. [Just as a suggestion, of course-- he's still too uneasy and upset with Vriska to be looking out for her wellbeing. She's god tier anyway.]
no subject
[But wow she feels a little heavier now, but she tries to shake it off. It's nothing, nothing at all. There's another phantom though, and she turns her attention to it instead.
If Tavros runs, she'll just deal with both of them. She's not afraid. Really.]
no subject
Sometimes, it's not a bad thing to do that.
no subject
[Ugh, these phantoms are moving too slowly. She's tired of waiting, so she advances on one of them and that heaviness blossoms. But it's probably nothing. She'll just gank its luck and this will be easy.]
no subject
[Tavros doesn't move closer. He's not like you, Vriska.]
no subject
[Whatever, she's going after the phantom, until suddenly she can't feel her power and she's backing up. Well. That.... Wasn't supposed to happen.]
no subject
If Vriska is doing it, then it can't be good. It's just a step, though, and nothing more than that. He doesn't give Vriska an answer, either.]
no subject
She's huge and menacing and Vriska still doesn't want to get eaten by this thing.]
no subject
And that wasn't really a good step to take.
With a gasp, he starts tumbling backwards, trying to grab onto something that will stop his fall, but not managing to grab onto anything.]
no subject
What is it with you and stairs, Nitram? It was funny the first time, but now it's just getting old!
[She glances back at the phantom briefly before she heads down the stairs to go find the idiot who can't seem to use them properly.]
no subject
Either way, he couldn't move.
He hated falling like this.]

no subject
By the time Vriska gets there, he's trying to move but can't.]
no subject
[Looming over him. She can either leave him there and go after a phantom or she can attempt to help him.
It's a tough decision.]
no subject
He's trying to move away from her, and at the same time, further away from the phantoms that are stalking after them.
That energy draining sure is awful, isn't it.]
