SO YOU FEEL ENTITLED TO A SENSE OF CONTROL
Characters: Zelgadis Greywords & you, perhaps
Setting: Room 3-06, then various places in the Tower
Format: Action
Summary: There's a new ... chimera ... in town, and he's wandering about in a (grumpy, frustrated) daze
[He's woken up; he's recovered from the paralysis; he's read the letters. Now he's standing by what is, ostensibly, his bed now, trying to recover from shock and dismay. To be honest, he doesn't believe that his world's been destroyed for a second--or perhaps he just refuses to believe it. Doing so would mean accepting a reality in which the Monster race got what it wanted, after all, and that just couldn't be tolerated.
It was rapidly clear that very little was tolerable about his new circumstances, in fact. He paces the room in agitation, noting its features, questioning whoever happens to come in or already be there.]
[This floor looks promising. He'll be wandering the stacks, searching for information, and occasionally sitting down with a book that looks relevant or interesting. While he quickly realizes that nothing here actually illuminates his situation, he keeps paging through the books anyway. This is obviously a new world, with its own strange history and rules, and maybe he can find SOMETHING of use here, even if it's not specifically about the tower.]
[Ugh. Oatmeal.
Zelgadis pulls down his hood and takes off his mask to eat this gruel, frowning suspiciously the entire time.]

Cafeteria
...Zel? Zel?!

So you're here, too, huh?

[Must not show worry, must keep cool. Can't let it be known that the great Lina Inverse actually is capable of caring about her friends.]
...so, uh. How'd that whole Copy Rezo thing work out with me gone, huh?

[She pauses, then frowns, recalling her punishment for failing in the Labyrinth.]
They seem to be able to get into our heads, too. Know what makes us tick.
[Zel's comment gets a frustrated noise, and she slumps down into a chair, and leans on her elbow.] Last I recall, he was still kickin' our butts, and Sylphiel stopped me from using the Giga Slave...

[his frown matches hers when she brings up the Tower's ability to get into its residents' heads, but he's distracted by her apparent enormous memory loss??] You died after that. [pause for effect.] But you got better.

...I knew things were looking bad, but...

[after a moment--] --and you didn't cast the Giga Slave.

[She sounds rather disbelieving of it. Why the hell would she do that? Six months of being out of the moment will do that.
A few puzzled faces follow, and then she scratches her head.]
Good to know I came out of it alright. And that it all turned out good.
...and that I didn't cast it. [Let's not bring up that she tried to cast it here, though, ahahaha.]

We traveled together for a long time beyond that, too.

We did? Can't say I'm surprised - all things considered, we made a pretty good team.

Lina ... how long have you been here? What's happened to you?

She falls quiet, and folds her arms on the table - possibly a subconscious way of withdrawing.]
I don't know how long, exactly. Months, at least. And there's been a lot that's happened.
