SO YOU FEEL ENTITLED TO A SENSE OF CONTROL
Characters: Zelgadis Greywords & you, perhaps
Setting: Room 3-06, then various places in the Tower
Format: Action
Summary: There's a new ... chimera ... in town, and he's wandering about in a (grumpy, frustrated) daze
[He's woken up; he's recovered from the paralysis; he's read the letters. Now he's standing by what is, ostensibly, his bed now, trying to recover from shock and dismay. To be honest, he doesn't believe that his world's been destroyed for a second--or perhaps he just refuses to believe it. Doing so would mean accepting a reality in which the Monster race got what it wanted, after all, and that just couldn't be tolerated.
It was rapidly clear that very little was tolerable about his new circumstances, in fact. He paces the room in agitation, noting its features, questioning whoever happens to come in or already be there.]
[This floor looks promising. He'll be wandering the stacks, searching for information, and occasionally sitting down with a book that looks relevant or interesting. While he quickly realizes that nothing here actually illuminates his situation, he keeps paging through the books anyway. This is obviously a new world, with its own strange history and rules, and maybe he can find SOMETHING of use here, even if it's not specifically about the tower.]
[Ugh. Oatmeal.
Zelgadis pulls down his hood and takes off his mask to eat this gruel, frowning suspiciously the entire time.]

This place has pushed her to it.
[ some expansion would probably help, huh ]
Last month, the power supporting this tower went missing, along with a great number of other people taken from their worlds. Food was scarce, the temperature swung from sweltering hot to terribly cold, and the monsters that lurk in the darkness grew bolder.
Apparently the people who went missing were used in a competition... I don't know the details, but all of this combined seemed to lead Miss Lina to the thought that destruction would be preferable to enduring the twisted whims of our keepers.
