[ 01 ; aquarium ]
[There is just... something about being a Zora. To be able to move so quickly, so effortlessly... At first, Link just used the mask's abilities for his quests. But the ghost of Mikau whispered in the back of his mind, urging him to let go, to relax, to be a Zora instead of a boy pretending to be one. Hesitantly, he did, once. And it was unlike anything he'd ever felt before. He'd never experienced freedom, not like this. The only thing that came close was riding Epona, feeling her move powerfully under him, the wind in his hair, the unity of horse and rider as they barreled along the circular track. But this... This, is just him.
Link can be found as a blur darting throughout the water, leaping across the gaps between the columns without stopping. If you want his attention, you're probably going to have to yell or do something especially eye-catching.]
[ 02 ; music room ]
( 2.1 )
[There is a song playing on the floor 28, and while it starts off and features a solid string section, as per usual of the music room, a new woodwind voice joins the orchestra. If you look further into this matter, you'll find a boy sitting amongst the instruments, playing a small tan potato ocarina with his eyes closed.
He doesn't seem to notice you. What do?]
( 2.2 )
[Link was originally just passing through, but something caught his attention on the staircase on floor 28. At first, he can't quite tell what it is, and his curiousity gets the better of him. He can't help but to come off the staircase and take a look.
So what is it that you're doing to attract so much attention?]
[ 03 ; art room ]
[Whether you're just climbing up the staircase or turning a corner in the art room, this is the sight that awaits you. The boy in green tilts his head one way, stays there for a while, and then tilts his head the other way. Finally, he says aloud to himself,]
I don't get it.
[ 04 ; floor 11 ; for
giveschase only! ]
[Last month, Link found a mask in the Tower while searching for the stuff that was stolen from him. It was quiet and didn't speak of magic when he held it, so he simply stowed it away to investigate later. He still had the other masks to find, after all. But after that, he forgot about it. But once the month changed, he could suddenly feel its magic through his pack. He didn't think anything of it immediately, because there have been other things to focus on -- the return of everyone else in the Tower, namely -- but the longer he's ignored it, the louder it has gotten. Today, he's finally decided to sit down and check it out. What is it that made this mask so "vocal" all of a sudden?
He draws it out of his bag. The mask is of a man's face, complete with the Hylian ears. There was a blue marking on his forehead and two red markings under both of the mask's empty eyes. His hair is white with long parted bangs, just like Link's. Now that he's holding it, the mask seems to have quieted down a little, almost as if it is saying finally.]
Who are you...? [Link murmurs to the mask, as if expecting an answer. When he doesn't get one, he hesitates, and then raises the mask to his face.
And then, everything changes.]

He'd try actually playing a song but he had no idea what their third member was currently "singing," so he was kind of just trying to pretend he actually knew whatever was being played at the moment as he stared blankly down at his instrument.
Fortunately they are nowhere close to actually having demo CDs out, given how amazing their playing currently was.]

Comeon! Leeetsssu gooo evuribady!
[It was as if the happier he was, the WORST he sang and jumbled his words came out.]
no subject
Well. He's just going to slide on out of here before he interrupts them. If they're practicing, he shouldn't bother the --
Unfortunately, since he was backing out of the room, he wasn't looking where he was going. Apparently one of the cellos decided to make a break for the door, too, because it was right behind Link as if it appeared out of midair. With a yelp, Link falls backward, crashing into the cello.
Graceful.]
no subject
The fuck? [Yeah, he's getting up to investigate, also thank you small child(???) for interrupting Eikichi's singing, thank you thank you thank you.]
no subject
Actually he kind of looked familiar, if a bit younger...]
Are you OK...?
no subject
[Yes feeble mortals. Let your ears rest for a few moments, as Eikichi might start again later.]
no subject
[The cello seems to be unharmed, miraculously. It scoots along the floor away from the young Hero of Time as if offended. Link sits up, bringing a hand to his head even as he's shaking it.]
S-Sorry... [is the next thing he says. He's not even answering the question directed at him -- His priority is that he interrupted their practice.]
no subject
The first thing he notices is the clothing, and then the hair and ears and yeah wow really familiar, ain't he.]
...Let me guess. Link?
no subject
He took his keytar off his shoulder and followed Tatsuya over, offering a hand to Link to help him back to his feet.]
You two certainly look similar....
Hi I suck.
You ain't gonna toss us in a tree somewhere, are you?
[Because being tossed in a tree once was enough.]
no subject
Yeah... I'm Link. [a pause.] Hero of Time -- or "Forest," to make it easier to keep us apart.
[He blinks at Eikichi for what he said.] Toss you... in... a tree...?
no subject
Uh, I guess we ran into an older version of you.
[And...that happened.
Please keep it a secret from everyone.]
no subject
tbh]
I'm Jun. My friends here are Tatsuya and Michel. It's nice to meet you.
[Try and make it as least awkward as possiblllleee!!]
no subject
[Time?
T I M E . . . Wow that doesn't make him feel slightly uncomfortable considering everything...but you know no let's not think about that okay? OKAY!...Let's Positive Thinking! He grins again and looks down at Forest.]
Yeah that was kinda weird...let's talk about something else! D'you come into this room to play music or sing?
no subject
[Link inclines his head in greeting, and then he gets to his feet and dusts himself off. He wonders why his other self would throw people into trees, but they don't seem too keen on talking about it, so he supposes he'll accept the topic change.]
Um... Yeah. Every now and then.
no subject
But then he just looks at Eikichi.]
Why else would he be here, genius?
[Oh boy, here we go.]
no subject
Jun lets out half of an obviously exasperated sigh, officially turning his attention away from Tatsuya and Jun and focused on Link with a half smile.]
What do you play?
no subject
The hell's your problem, Tachan?! They could have come here for a bunch of other reasons! [Such as....] Could have heard us practicing and was just passing by, or didn't know what this place was!
no subject
Now to answer Jun.] I play the ocarina. [... and the pipes, and the drums, and the guitar, but. That's not really him, sort of??]
no subject
Ah, is that like a... [Pause...]
...What's an ocarina? [He never heard of that. What, is that like a koto or lute or whatever kind of Ye Olde Instrument?]
no subject
[Tatsuya how did you not know about a vague wind instrument that very few people play and so obscure that only people who might be interested in music would know about?]
It's a wind instrument. Like a really fat flute.
i'm sorry, but...
Ahhh, right. [Still having trouble picturing it, but whatever.]
LMFAO
[Link will bring out the Ocarina of Time to show you, Tatsuya.]
This is what an ocarina looks like.
no subject
[What
yes he knows this stuff
are you really surprised.]
no subject
He's about to say "okay i get it, geez" when the instrument catches his eye, and he crouches to take a look at it (but not touch, looks expensive as hell). Huh...]
...What's it made out of? [Weird, it kinda looked like metal, but it obviously wasn't. Too fancy-looking for clay, and it definitely wasn't plastic...porcelain, maybe? Did porcelain look that odd?]
