A. Floor Twelve

Ivan had been through a lot in his life--through war, and conquest, invasion and genocide. But even with that experience, the tower was starting to run him down. Being cut off from his people, from his own home stung enough as it was--it was an ache that had started in his chest, and just would not go away. Honestly he felt a little sick--and the lack of alcohol didn't help. At least when life had gotten bad before he hadn't been sober.

The room wasn't helping. Especially not when he realized the significance of it--worlds being destroyed, over and over again. No, not just worlds, universes. He couldn't recognize them, the stares imploding, the planets being drained dry, and he stalled in the center of the room, watching, as it happened over and over again. And he waited, wanting to see if his world was being subjected to the same thing. He remembered vaguely the letter he had gotten when he had woken up--figured it was just a ploy, a lie to get him to sit down and behave. Now, he was not so sure.

B. Floor Eleven

The open air was a nice change to the cooped up tower, but it was missing something--it wasn't quite the same as his home had been. Perhaps it was the air, or the fact that the room didn't seem exactly physically possible (despite the fact that he was in it, and therefore it had to be). At the very least, there were flowers, and he did like flowers, despite them not being his, and the lake made a pretty sight (if not a tad confusing).

Either way, it was better than sitting inside, by a long shot, and the edges of the room were open. He wondered vaguely if he could get out of the tower that way--after all, he had survived bigger jumps before. A broken leg was a small price to pay for getting out of the tower. Though even as he mused on this, he knew it likely wouldn't work--and if it didn't, he would have a broken limb to contend with while being trapped. Perhaps he could find another nation, and get them to take the plunge--see what happened.

Or Russia was foolish enough to believe it.

Just because there were no invasions going on didn't mean Poland found anything good about the other country. Russia had been his enemy for a long time and even if their bosses were trying to trade, Poland wanted nothing to do with him. "And I don't like you. Liking someone helps with friendship stuff."

Poland looks around the place and sees it seems like there's a way to jump off. "I wonder if we could just jump off..."

[identity profile] polishrule.livejournal.com 2011-09-02 08:36 pm (UTC)(link)
No, it was definitely true because Russia was a fool who thought false things were the truth.

Poland glared. "I totally don't care if you're like, not hating me at the moment. We're not friends. This is just...I don't know. Ugh, you're such a freak." Sometimes Poland really did not understand why people were so afraid of Russia. To Poland, he wasn't scary. But Poland's point of view was...well. Poland's point of view.

"Or you totally could! Your lard could save you and stuff." Poland smiled back at him.

Russia was delusional. Definitely.

Poland thinks that over. They were closer than they had been for ages, it still wasn't that big of a feat. They'd been at each other's necks for a long time. Poland just considered this a small break from that. "We're like...acquaintances or something."

Letting out a bark of laughter. "Your bones are super big then. And yeah, I totally wouldn't die, but I've got a lot more to protect! My hair can't get all dirty. So like, jump down first and then we can use you as a landing mat!"

Russia was silly. Always.

"Rivals is totally more like it." Russia had always been his number one enemy. Right now they were fine, but Poland could see them fighting again one day. If not their bosses, then just by themselves. Though he'd hope the peace would keep going for as long as possible. He needed the break.

Poland was good at ruining content expressions. A master at it. "And it wouldn't be a big deal to use you as a landing mat! It'd be for the good of all of us, right?"

Everyone knew that Russian silliness was more prominent than Polish silliness.

Poland laughs at that as he actually does flip his hair. Being with him and Lithuania make him act more like himself. Lithuania makes sense. Russia? Not so much. "Yeah, whatever."

There was no way Poland was jumping out of a tower. "Dude, you're all about becoming one and stuff, but you are totally bad at teamwork. Wow."

[identity profile] polishrule.livejournal.com 2011-09-13 04:06 am (UTC)(link)
Poland never lies.

He had dismissed the argument so in Poland's mind, it wasn't really winning. Just dismissing the very idea of Russia ever being better.

"Well, me just jumping out is totally not teamwork and I am not jumping out! Broken bones suck and they ruin everything." He sighs and moodily crosses his arms. "One plan down, I guess."

[identity profile] polishrule.livejournal.com 2011-09-26 03:11 am (UTC)(link)
No, that was definitely Russia who was known for lying.

At the comments about his bones, he frowned. "Dude, just because I don't have like, giant whale bones like you do? They're so not breakable."

[identity profile] polishrule.livejournal.com 2011-09-27 06:55 am (UTC)(link)
That was a lie right there.

"My bones are like, petite but sturdy. They are totally awesome bones and make me look not fat," Poland says. "You know, not like you?" Because he had to add that one on.

[identity profile] polishrule.livejournal.com 2011-10-04 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
If by complete and total truth meant lies, then yes.

Poland scowls at him. "Dude, anything could break with your massive meat hands."

[identity profile] polishrule.livejournal.com 2011-10-11 03:35 pm (UTC)(link)
But that's an impossible thing for Russia.

"I'm not ridiculously tiny!" He's bigger than Latvia, okay. And Japan. And Hungary. The list goes on! "It's like, common knowledge you're just some gigantic dude."
