speak no feeling no I don't believe you
Characters: [AU1] Platina and you, maybe?
Setting: Various locations
Format: Prefer action, but I'll roll with whatever you want to roll with.
Summary: Platina arrives in the Tower. Stuff ensues.
Warnings: Not sure, will update if there are any. Please note that Platina cannot speak to your characters. She can write, though.
[Room 3-05]
[Platina jolts awake, as would anyone else under these circumstances. She blinks, uncomprehending for a moment. She manages to get her clothes on quickly though, after finding them in the trunk.
She reaches over to the letter nearby and reads it. A long moment passes as she comprehends this. Your world has been destroyed. She's not sure if she should be upset or happy about this-
Anyone who comes in, or wakes up here, will find her just sitting there, head bowed as she stares at the letter. She's trying not to cry, you see.]
[Floor 22]
[She's just gotten out of Floor 23 and is now looking around in confusion, her eyebrows furrowed. She's paying less attention to the artwork and more attention to the stairs because...
Seriously? What was that? She's pretty sure there was a floor there...but a quick check of her notebook shows that if there was, she didn't speak to anyone there. So now she's just fluttering around the gallery, hand in front of her mouth thoughtfully. What just happened?]
[Floor 13]
[Platina can be found wandering here with an expression of awe on her face as she observes the architecture and the stained glass. She's never seen anything like it. The quiet, the vast nature of it, the lack of connection to the outside world...for some reason, she likes it.]
[Cafeteria]
[You knew this was going to happen. Platina is sitting at one of the tables with a generally displeased look on her face as she eats the oatmeal. Bleh! This is horrible! From time to time she draws abstract, yet annoyed scribbles in her notebook. It's as close as she can get to announcing that she can't stand this stuff.]

[Cafeteria]
He walks to her, handing her some sugar.]
Use this. It will make it more bearable to eat.
[Cafeteria]
She then writes in her notebook:] Thank you.
Re: [Cafeteria]
[He takes note of the book.] I take it you are mute?

What did you wish to know about this place?

However, there appear to be scientists who are with us, victims, who do not possess the same drive they do, and work on trying to improve life for everyone.

That is horrible
But I am glad that the second group exists

[She takes a deep breath - it's not needed, but...]
May I ask where a servant may be needed in this tower?

So I am to ask the rulers of the tower for my duties? That is unusual, but very well, I will ask. Thank you for telling me, sir.

You have your own free will. I suggest you use it.
Room 3-05 (obviously and forgive the tl;dr)
She nearly didn't notice the young woman nearby as she sat up, tugging at the collar and the tight jumpsuit. The goddess turned her eyes to the letter and suppressed a sob as she read it over. She was still All-Mother and in front of this girl, she would show nothing that could be used against her. Lenneth simply stood and went to her trunk, pulling it open and using Ether to switch the suit for her armor. She clipped Levantine around her waist then and stood, glad to have the familiar weight of armor and a weapon.
The sight of Gungnir in pieces concerned her but she could reassemble it easily enough when she had need of it. If she would need it. And then she turned to Platina and couldn't hide her surprise of stifle the gasp that escaped her.
She knew this girl...]

Valkyrie.
And here she is gaping like an idiot.
Very quickly, she gets to her feet and bows low to the goddess. She'd say something, some obeisance because that is what you do before the divine, but she can't, so she just settles for a flustered bow.]
Woo!
Child, you needn't bow to me.
[Yes, that is her face. Slightly younger and in the body of a mortal girl but that is her face all the same.]
Who are you?

Very quickly and lightly, she taps her own throat a few times to indicate that she can't talk. It's embarrassing, to be caught in such a state - rude, not to be able to make an answer. But...
Wait, the trunk...I think I saw them there. The notebook and writing utensils Asaka had given her in the wake of her losing her speech. Yes, that would probably do. Very briefly, Platina gestured with her hands toward the trunk, trying to indicate that she needed to get something from it.]

Has your voice been damaged?
no subject
I am Platina, Lady Valkyrie, and it is true that I cannot speak.
no subject
[A sigh escaped the goddesses lips, sounding more like a gasp and her eyes widened slightly. Not possible. Platina was dead, the human vessel she once resided in. How..?]
I am Lenneth. How is it you came to lose your voice?
no subject
I have not been able to speak since the night Master Belenus died. Beyond that I do not know.

[One of my einherjar.]
I am familiar with him. He is quite skilled in combat, as I have seen.

[She smiles for a moment, remembering that brief peace...if only that vampire hadn't--
Ugh. It still makes her shudder to remember it!]

[She was also really not nice, but you hold your tongue regarding the Gods!!!]

[Oh no, Lenneth completely understands how rude and lacking in compassion her sister could be.]
Well, I am nothing like my sister. Do not worry, little one.
wow how did I forget this--
[--they have names? Wow. 'A' Learning so many new things now!]
Idk but that's alright~
[Most people were never on a first name basis with the Valkyries.]

That shade of pink really doesn't match Platina's eyes, and now she is bowing frantically. Someone is flustered!]
no subject
[Just a bit amusement.]

for a mere servantdoes notLady Valkyrie, I am not worthy of such an honor
no subject
Who is it that decides whether one is worthy or otherwise? I've known many men and women in my time as Chooser of the Slain, even more when I took Odin's place, and I believe you are more worthy than many to use my name.

Understood,

I suppose that is the best I am going to get, isn't it?

[She bows again. Hi, guess who's still getting used to the...everything that isn't life as she knows it?]

[This tag is not here]
For now, he'll just stalk Platina whenever he can. Spying whatever she does, whatever she says. Since Lenneth is here, he'll split the work into two. If Platina ever has the feeling someone looks at her, by the time she turns to check, there will be no one to be seen. ]
