Summary: Platina arrives in the Tower. Stuff ensues.
Warnings: Not sure, will update if there are any. Please note that Platina cannot speak to your characters. She can write, though.


[Room 3-05]

[Platina jolts awake, as would anyone else under these circumstances. She blinks, uncomprehending for a moment. She manages to get her clothes on quickly though, after finding them in the trunk.

She reaches over to the letter nearby and reads it. A long moment passes as she comprehends this. Your world has been destroyed. She's not sure if she should be upset or happy about this-

Anyone who comes in, or wakes up here, will find her just sitting there, head bowed as she stares at the letter. She's trying not to cry, you see.]



[Floor 22]

[She's just gotten out of Floor 23 and is now looking around in confusion, her eyebrows furrowed. She's paying less attention to the artwork and more attention to the stairs because...

Seriously? What was that? She's pretty sure there was a floor there...but a quick check of her notebook shows that if there was, she didn't speak to anyone there. So now she's just fluttering around the gallery, hand in front of her mouth thoughtfully. What just happened?]



[Floor 13]

[Platina can be found wandering here with an expression of awe on her face as she observes the architecture and the stained glass. She's never seen anything like it. The quiet, the vast nature of it, the lack of connection to the outside world...for some reason, she likes it.]



[Cafeteria]

[You knew this was going to happen. Platina is sitting at one of the tables with a generally displeased look on her face as she eats the oatmeal. Bleh! This is horrible! From time to time she draws abstract, yet annoyed scribbles in her notebook. It's as close as she can get to announcing that she can't stand this stuff.]

You have just mentioned "all that goes on in this tower"; may I ask what it is you mean by that?

There are events that go in this tower, be it from scientists or other suspicious forces. [Granted, he couldn't really name any.]

Forgive me, I know this may sound ignorant, but may I ask what a scientist is?

[fusedstars]

A scientist is usually one who works on many different areas, such as the human body, cells, etc. In short, the scientists who run this tower do random experiments, usually by force. It involves surgeries forced onto the person.

However, there appear to be scientists who are with us, victims, who do not possess the same drive they do, and work on trying to improve life for everyone.

[Platina's handwriting is very shaky as she replies.]

That is horrible

But I am glad that the second group exists

Numbers are extremely few of the latter. Just remember, that those people are the prisoners.

[She takes a deep breath - it's not needed, but...]

May I ask where a servant may be needed in this tower?

[fusedstars]

Servant? Well, usually the scientists can assign a job to someone, but other than that, not much, unless you wish to contribute with helping others.

[vestigialdream]

[The look on Platina's face is plainly puzzled. It's been years; she doesn't really remember what it is to have a choice.]

So I am to ask the rulers of the tower for my duties? That is unusual, but very well, I will ask. Thank you for telling me, sir.

I would avoid asking and simply try to converse with those near you. You are no one's slave here.

[vestigialdream]

[This gives Platina pause, and instead of writing, she just looks up at Hei as if he's grown a second head. This is a foreign concept to her - and she doesn't dare hope...]

True, the scientists do technically control this tower, but never think of yourself as a slave here.

You have your own free will. I suggest you use it.
