Characters: AU!Ganon and YOU
Setting: just outside his room (1-16)
Format: Action. My brain for prose is gone today. 8(
Summary: Ganon realizes he's not where he expected! ....And is not amused...
Warnings: Stubborn, hard-headed hero version of Ganondorf. Brain breakage might be ahead!

*Be careful walking down the first dormitory floor's hallway. You'll probably risk being hit by a suddenly-opened door when a red-headed boy that can't be older than seventeen storms out. Destroyed? Yeah right. That's a lie. And Ganon has a good idea of who wrote that note, too. He's still buckling on the chest strap that holds on his very familiar looking sword.

The same sword that's usually only held by the various Links in the tower.

Ganon wraps the...scarf?...that he uses to shield the desert sun from his face around his neck, hiding his collar, and turns to start looking for a way out. Or the person responsible for this badly planned trick. He's certainly not going to be stuck in this tower. Not if he can help it.*

[So you say you want a red-headed boy no more than seventeen? Guess there's two of them, because here comes another one now. And you nearly just slammed a door on his face. Good thing Beat has SUPREME CATLIKE REFLEXES, because otherwise he'd be clocked in the head and Ganon would have some very unsightly graffiti sprayed all over him.]

[Wow, stupid. Beat smirks and lifts the goggles off of his face, letting them hang around his neck. He does have normal eyes, honest.]

See? Nothing wrong. They're just goggles, to, uh... [He looks Ganon up and down.] ...protect my eyes. From wind and shit.

[It's not a total lie. You would not believe the things that come in contact with your face when you're skating at way too many miles an hour.]

*oh. Well. He's secretly relieved it wasn't as bad as he thought.*

I wouldn't mind something like that myself.

*with a few hundred extra pairs. For everyone.*

What kind of place is this? I found the note. *his fist clenches, and his anger flares again.* It can't all be gone, just like that...

Yeah, they're handy.

[Ganon gets a funny look for the anger spot, but no more than that.]

...We don't know. It may not be, and the guys running this place are trying to pull one over on us.

That's probably what happened, actually, knowing them.

A tall man wearing all green named Link wouldn't happen to be part of that, would he?

Link...

[Beat tilts his head.]

No, but there was a dude in green named Link traipsing around with a collar on like everybody else. I only met him the once, though.

*yep, that's all he needs to hear. Be right back, he needs to go confront someone. He's already taking off again.*

[...Um.]

Hey! Where are you going?

[And he's just going to follow Ganon -- and pretty fast, too, considering that he's wearing rollerblades at the moment.]

*and Ganon just keeps walking.*

That man... He's the one turning Hyrule into a twisted, evil forest. I can't let him go. Even if Hyrule being destroyed is a lie, he's responsible for causing so much death and hardship.

Seriously?

[And now that he's caught up, Beat is just going go move back into a walking speed. That story actually hits pretty close to home, since even if his villain wasn't working on the basis of 'twisted, evil forest', it was still doing a great job of ruining a lot of people's lives. When you're in danger of losing your turf, you fight back for it.]

[His tone is bitter.]

*Just as sarcastic:* The greatest.

*he glances at the stranger out of the corner of his eye.* My name is Ganon.

[Ganon... where had he heard that name before?]

[Ah well, probably not important.]

*Ganon gives him an odd look at the unfamiliar swear.* "Clusterfuck"?

[Oh, right, this guy is from Ancient Egypt or something.] A big stupid mess where no one can get their facts straight or succeed at doing anything and everything just ends up as a giant... wreck.

*except his nose and eyes don't look quite human...*

Oh. *Good a name as any, he supposes.* I'm used to dealing with "clusterfucks", then.

*boy, is he ever...*

Good, you'll feel right at home.

[And Beat punches him lightly in the arm.]

*What. Why would you hit him? ...Well. Nabooru's done the same on more than one occasion. But from a stranger...? This place is strange.*

...Come on. I want to find a way out of here.

You gonna try for an exit door? [Beat raises his eyebrows, but doesn't leave Ganon's side.] Alright, think I'll tag along for that, if you don't mind. [He clearly doesn't really care if Ganon minds or not.]

Heh. I don't mind. It's the first time someone's offered to help.

For real? There's a bunch of goody-two-shoes in this tower, I'm surprised you haven't been tripping over all the kids wanting to help.

*You'd think that walking through a dormitory corridor during the day would be relatively safe and not require someone to be on alert for doors suddenly opening in your face. Apparently, you'd be wrong. Since his default state is solid in the Tower, Allen gets smacked in the face with that door, resulting in him falling backwards.

With some muted grumbling, he pulls himself to his feet, snagging his cape under his foot a couple times before it seems to fall through the floor so he can get up properly.*

Watch where you're going!

*he stops and turns around. What a strange mask. Strange enough to make him cautious around this man.*

...I'm sorry. I have someone I have to track down. And then find a way out. I don't suppose you would know where I can find a tall man in green named Link, would you?

*He calms down at the apology, but still brushes himself off as he fixes his cape.*

Sorry, no. And getting out isn't that easy, or else none of us would be here.

*Wait a second, that face looks familiar. Younger, but...while Ganon can't see his face, the tilt of Allen's head implies some level of curiosity or thought.*

What's your name?

...Ganon.

*He's still watching the man suspiciously. Where he comes from, only one kind of person walks around with a mask on all the time. The untrustworthy kind.*

*To be fair, he isn't someone to take at face value, pun or no.*

That's not short for Ganondorf, is it?

*his eyes narrow in suspicion, his hand resting on the hilt of the Master Sword.*

...I don't go around telling people my full name. Who are you? How do you know me?

*He raises his hands in a placating gesture, trying to show that he isn't looking for a fight.*

This is probably going to be a bit hard to believe, but there's another version of you here, and he does use his full name.

[Well he had been trying to return to his room, but was abruptly stopped when the door swung open full-force and someone stormed out, making Ven quickly scramble out of the way of the outcoming boy and try not to get slammed by the door as well.]

H-- Hey! What was that for?!

[He did not fancy being a pancake today, thank you.]

*he stops and looks behind him, giving the stranger a flat look before turning around again. He looks all right, at least.*

Sorry.

[Phew, OK, just gonna let out a breath and regain his composure.]

Yeesh. You OK? You act like there's a fire or something.

[ Awkward. The word of the day for the older Ganondorf. When he passed by the dormitory floor, he sees and stumble upon... Someone he's been expecting to see for months. Finally, another version of him. Was about damn time, with all the Heroes around here, some help would be greatly appreciated.

This one looked much like himself when he was young- No matter, he could train him, but...

He didn't feel evil. ]

[ Have your older and evil self starting at you suspiciously, hero. ]

*Ganon freezes. His left hand is tingling with the presence of another piece of the Triforce. Power. Link stole it from the sacred place unlocked with the Master Sword...

With one swift motion he draws that sword and whirls to face--

Another Gerudo. Another male Gerudo.*

.....

[ is that... The Master Sword? The normal one, not the evil version? What the hell's happening here? ]

What are you doing with the Sword of Evil Bane?

[ Simple and straightforward question. Something is very wrong here and he does not like it. ]
