[Open] What a lovely day for a picnic~
Characters: Disciple, Dolorosa, and open to anybody!
Setting: Floor Twenty-Five
Format: We're comfortable with any format you decide to put up.
Summary: Dolorosa & Disciple decide they would like a nice time away from it all, so why not have a nice picnic? If you would like something cooked over an open fire, Di will happily cook it for you!
Warnings: Fire and smoke, but only if you are really careless when playing out in the open.
After running to get to this peaceful floor, Disciple happily runs out in the open to floor 25. She falls instantly on the grass and rolls in it as Dolorosa quietly sets up the big blanket and the food. Embarrassed that she wasn't helping out, Disciple gets up and does her fair share by setting up a small fire to cook on.
When done, they both smile at their accomplishment and relax.

That's ok! ^_^
"Well I am glad you have decided to join us. I will make sure this feast will fit a glorious warrior such as yourself. You earned it!"

"Thank you. You shouldn't go to any lengths for me." He was, after all, uninvited, on top of feeling he doesn't really deserve the praise.

Clearly, the best course of action would be to talk about something else entirely.
"When you called hunting a lifestyle...do you mean it's more to you than a trade?"

"Yes. When I was small and my world was not at all peaceful, I had to fend for myself for survival. It made me grow up faster than other trolls, but I am thankful for it, for it taught me valuable skills I needed in life. Especially for my world, where brutal combat and culling was the norm."

"I'm sorry." There was a pause as he let what she said sink in. "'Culling', as with grain? Was...was that the attitude taken in choosing warriors?"
no subject
"Excuse me. I should have been more clearer on my words. In my world, culling means killing. Sadly I wish I could use your definition rather that our own. "

"So killing, then...is seen as removing the inferior?" Enoch shook his head. He had quite a tolerance as far as societies finding what worked best for them. But to have such a view of death...

....That was certainly a mouthful. He can be wordy if he's passionate.

Especially since he knows that Heaven lends a sparing hand - that the entire point is to find things out for themselves.

It was very refreshing to see someone like her, even though they looked worlds apart. It made her more curious about him, not to mention feeling like she can let her guard down when it comes to him. How strange...

No matter the world or its circumstances, right and wrong at their most basic levels never seemed to change. It was something Enoch could find hope in, at least.
