Code 001
Characters: Hakuno Kishinami & YOU!
Setting: Room 3-05, 4th Floor lounge, Cafeteria
Format: Brackets, but will switch to match
Summary: This isn't really the first time Hakuno has woken up in a strange area she has never seen before.
Warnings: Spoilers for Fate/Extra endgame. Nothin' other than that!
[Room 3-05]
[As far as last moments go... Hakuno's really wasn't that bad. It was like drifting off to sleep... she had made her wish, and put an end to the Holy Grail War. She had helped Rin escape, and even managed to get a message out to her. Saber was even by her side the whole time. There was that dull throb in her chest, the pain of knowing that she was never going to see her friend or her beloved Servant ever again... but still. She was content.
So, of course, she was completely confused when consciousness slowly returned to her. She was... waking up? But she shouldn't be waking up now...]
Eh...?
[She doesn't really notice the sleep paralysis. Her mind is too busy whirling about a mile a minute - how is she here, what happened back home, is this the real world, what why how what why how - and it's only until it begins giving her a headache that she moves, sitting up in bed and just... staying there. She looks around, confusion clearly written on her face. Just what is going on...?]
[Floor Four]
[After passing many floors in various states of ruin (seriously, what in the world went on here?), Hakuno stopped to pause in one of the lounges. Her face is practically pressed to the glass of the windows, trying to peer out into the nothingness beyond.]
It's so different... there's no way this could be the Moon Cell...
[Cafeteria]
[Hakuno is, more or less, miserable by this point. It's really sinking in that this isn't some fading dream she's stuck in while being deleted. She should be celebrating... that she's out of the Moon Cell, that she's real and alive, but...
She's all alone now. No Rin. No Saber. She had met some people before, so technically she wasn't alone... but the precious friends she bonded so closely with were gone. For someone whose existence was more or less nothing without those two people... it hurt.
It hurt so badly that her appetite wasn't there at all. She's currently sitting at an empty table, head pillowed on her crossed arms, with an untouched bowl of oatmeal in front of her.]

[ room 3-05 ]
[ Hey, Hakuno. Hope you don't mind your new roommate who's sitting on her bed as she's repairing something. While she looks human, she's anything but thanks to that visor and headset she has. One hand moves the visor upwards to glance at Hakuno and raise her hand in a wave. ]
Greetings. I take it you are new here, miss. Please do not be alarmed as I, nor anyone else in this room, shall hurt you.
no subject
Uh... [Her head is way too full of questions right now, so it really makes her thoughts all cluttered. But something does stick out... this girl sounds like she's familiar with this place.]
Where is "here"? This isn't the Moon Cell, is it?
no subject
[ Sertoria places her tool down and then the device very carefully. ]
You have been brought to the Tower by our captors known only as the Administrators. It is because they evidently saved us from our destroyed worlds and want us to reside here.

[Cafeteria]
Mind if I sit here?
no subject
Yeah, sure. Nobody else was sitting here before.
no subject
So, oatmeal. Guess you're new to the tower?
no subject
[Her gaze then falls down to the bowl.] What's with the oatmeal?

... What are you looking for? [ her tone is fairly blank. ]

[She finally breaks her gaze away from the outside, looking down at the small girl.]
Is it always this cloudy?
no subject
And.. it mostly is. Sometimes you can see other things out of the windows though. ... Like whales.
[ somehow she manages to say everything in the same tone. ]
no subject
[Wait.
Wait.]
... I'm sorry, I don't think I heard that right. I thought you said that there are whales out there.

And there was one that caught his attention. A familiar one. The one who ended with his life back at his world. Yet, there isn't any feeling of hatred on his actions. ]
It looks like some things haven't changed at all, young one.

I praise your memory to remember me the way you do. You have learned to be more cautious, even in a strange world. But worry not, I mean no harm to you.
no subject
She sighs.] There's no more Holy Grail anyway, so even if you wanted to, it would be pointless to fight.
[Unless revenge was a thing for him, of course.]

Don't worry. Everyone is like that when they first arrive here. I was pretty upset when I woke up here too.

floor four;
[Sorry, Hakuno, but Haruhi Suzumiya was actually eavesdropping on what you were saying. Even though the brigade chief may have arrived during a horrible time, she still likes overhearing things.
Especially since she usually does it from far away.]
What's this "Moon Cell" thing you were talking about?
no subject
[Technically, it's true! Not something humanity has to worry about anymore...]
no subject
Nothing? Is that true? [But then her serious face slides into into a mischievous, evil grin.] Because it sure didn't seem like nothing.

❖ CAFETERIA; aka shit I need to make more icons but I am lazy
Food, however, was necessary in replenishing lost prana. Caring little for the situation around her, she plops down a tray right in front of the other girl. The tray itself is littered with food, the bottom of it hard to find amongst the bowls and whatever else she was able to acquire in this place.
What was that internal monologue about being alone and without Rin? Even if she's covered in weird lines along the side of her face or with white hair, those twintails can't be mistaken for anyone else. But just in case they were: ]
You should give me that. [ Her blunt demeanor is always there to save the day as she points to the untouched oatmeal. ]
❖ CAFETERIA; it's okay let's be lazy together
That voice. There's no way she'd be able to forget the sound of that voice. The voice of one of her closest companions, the girl she risked her life to save and the one that had saved her hide several times... it was a voice she was resigned to never hearing again. So when Rin spoke, Hakuno's head shot up.]
... Rin? [The almost desperate hope in her eyes quickly gave way to confusion as she noticed the other girl's appearance.] Wh... what happened to you?
❖ CAFETERIA; I am always lazy so whenever you feel the need, join in
[ On first thought, Rin can only find herself annoyed with the situation. Here a stranger knows her by name and was showing concern for her. Someone from school that she's never noticed is the likely reason for the familiarity, but first-name basis even for someone there? ]
A friend of April's? [ It slips out in surprise as she tries to figure out who this person is. The other question can be ignored for now as far as she's concerned. ]
❖ CAFETERIA; but what if I'm too lazy to join in???
❖ CAFETERIA; shit that's some lazyception then
❖ CAFETERIA; indeed
❖ CAFETERIA; I think I have met my rival in laziness
❖ CAFETERIA; I would say let's fight, BUT....
❖ CAFETERIA; too lazy for that
❖ CAFETERIA; yyyyyup
❖ CAFETERIA; oh well we can just be lazy and somehow acquire feels with these two
❖ CAFETERIA; u_u it's easy to acquire feels with these two!!!
❖ CAFETERIA; Yes, yes it is u_u
