Characters: Labrys and you~!
Setting: Room 3-07, floor 3
Format: Either or, depending on your preference.
Summary: What even is going on.
Warnings: WHEEE PERSONA 4 ARENA SPOILERS ALL UP IN HERE
[Room 3-07]
[Unexpected shutdown detected. Running diagnostic.]
[Motor functions impaired. Hypothesis: system failure. Reasoning: possible stress overload on emotional subroutines.]
[Attempting recovery...attempt two...att-]
[The girl's eyes snapped open, interrupting thirty seconds of systems fumbling and scrambling for a reason as to why mechanical limbs refused to respond. The too-pale girl blinked too-red eyes widened with surprise; nothing she could find in her memory or data banks could explain this. Hadn't she only just been in a car with Aigis and the others?]
[Reviewing current records... no lost data found. Hypothesis: New location. Contradiction: Impossibility.]
[It didn't make sense. One didn't just blink and wake up elsewhere, the incident in the TV world notwithstanding. Where were Aigis and Mitsuru, that funny guy in the cape or the younger girl with them?]
[For that matter...where was she?]
[Floor Three]
[Having shed the unusual outfit she awoke in, a girl wandered the tower, every movement making quiet mechanical whirring noises as she went. She could have sworn she was wearing her Yasogami uniform when last she was aware at all...for that matter, where on earth was her axe?]
[Wherever this was...everything was in ruins. It made Labrys nervous, honestly. Some kind of catastrophe had taken place here, and imagining what could cause this kind of destruction made her metal hands fidget nervously. This...wasn't the world behind the TV again, was it? She didn't really recall getting thrown in the first time, so...]
[She shook her head, looking down at her hands. Still metal, no illusion or dream making them seem like flesh and bone. Labrys was still Labrys, no matter what. They'd taught her that much, and if she had to face Shadows or anything else she wouldn't forget herself in the process.]
[Hesitantly, Labrys called out a few names as she continued walking. Maybe they'd answer, or maybe they were miles away.]
Aigis? Mitsuru?
[A pause.]
...Yu? Y-Yosuke? ...C'mon, anybody.

ok remind me to never tag while on pain meds /sees all the errors @@
Just to warn you, most of the others only remember up till March as well. But knowing them, I doubt there will be any difference.
[A beat.] Though I have to admit, now I'm a little curious.
[Does Kanji think it's all a dream then, too?]
shhhhh it's okay /headpat
[She smiled at that, seeming more or less at ease about the whole thing.]
Whaddya wanna know? Far as I can tell, all I got is time and nowhere t' go.
/patted orz
[Which left the question of what happened to them if they disappeared, but... saving those thoughts for later.]
How did we meet? ...Does Kanji think it's all a dream, too?
[NEVER. LETTING. THAT. GO.]
no subject
[She knew how much that would most likely explain, so she didn't need to elaborate right away.]
You an' your friends went in t' figure out what was goin' on, and Aigis's friends were lookin' for me. So alla you just kinda ended up crashin' into each other.
[She smiled just a little at the last question--that was probably all the answer he needed.]
1/2
[...Again? But hadn't they solved that problem once and for all? Wait, who would even know about the TV world aside from their... own...
Oh God, don't tell him Adachi actually kept a record of the TV world in the police report.
if he weren't gone, there would be a megidolaon spell in there somewhereIt was literally the only reason he could think of, since Dojima didn't believe a word of it and his uncle would likely have not kept that in.]Well, it sure sounds like us. ['I believe you.' Though he wonders what 'crashing into each other' was supposed to mean. Oh well. He'll just slowly pinch the bridge of his nose, trying to hide a smirk (and failing). Oh, Kanji...]
Some things never change.

...Wait, does this mean you awakened to a Persona while you were there?
no subject
[She nodded in acknowledgment to his question, seeming like it was no big deal.]
I was built to be able t' have a Persona. See, I'm an...Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon.

[Well, that explains the strange name. Though he doesn't mind it at all. He blinks. Okay, he's never heard of those before in all his time fighting Shadows, but regardless-]
That's actually pretty cool.
[Despite his initial surprise, he seems fine with it...]

[He'd answer any question he could... even though-]
May not have been here as long as Yosuke or Naoto-kun, but if you ever need any help... I'm here.
[Even robots need help at some point, right? They're still people in his book.]

Thanks, Labrys.

Thou art I... and I am thou...
Thou hast established a new bond...
It brings you closer to the truth...
You shall be blessed when fusing Personas
of the Fortune Arcana...
> You have established the Miss President Social Link of the Fortune Arcana!
> Labrys' battle tactics have been enhanced!
> Labrys will now hunt down a malevolent entity for you!
> Oh wait, she'd agreed to do that already and you had no idea about it until just now.
> *cough* Continue on...
[...What the hell, mysterious voices in head.
