[open] general training/sparring log.
Characters: Sertoria Cani and April Sinclair to start off. Others can join in, too, with their own threads!
Setting: First floor, various locations if needed.
Format: Prose to start off with, but I can always match.
Summary: Sertoria offers to train April and opens training sessions to others. This also can serve as a general training/sparring log for those who wanna use it due to an idea I had on plurk from the event.
Warnings: Violence due to sparring, but beyond that, not many.
Sertoria didn't mind training others one bit - especially when she saw the severity of what was going on here in the tower. So, as she walked down from the library and down to the first floor, she began to prepare some methods that she could use.
"Decrease speed to 45%. Decrease strength to 35%. Decrease defense to 40%. Limit weaponry down to level one. Optimize current system to 55%."
Approved.
As Sertoria's system performed those changes, she waited for April to arrive to begin the training session and waited to see if anyone else would arrive for her class.

"Ah, hi!"

"Greetings. Are you well, April?"

Sertoria didn't engage too often in smalltalk and saved it when it was needed. So, her objective shifted into training mode.
"Now, let us begin with the lesson. Please show me your fighting stance."
no subject
She does as instructed, and the stance she settles into clearly shows that they type of fighting she's only done has been basic and more than likely something akin to uncoordinated street fighting.

Sertoria in particular interested her--another robot, but one not made to fight Shadows? Labrys had to wonder who made her and why, as well as being interested in getting to know Sertoria just for who she was.
no subject
She stopped for a brief moment and glanced at Labrys, offering her fellow android a smile.
"Greetings, Labrys. Are you well?"
no subject
She managed a smile as well, though it might have been just a little hesitant.
"How you been doin'?"
no subject
Her eyes noticed everything - especially minuet details like the hesitant smile she was given. But, she decided to keep her comment to herself.
"I have been all right. I cannot complain."

She hesistated a second or two--what if it was too personal a question? Labrys didn't know what kind of life Sertoria had, if it was better or worse than her own. Should she really ave been prying at all?
"...What were ya built for?"
no subject
Her fingers gripped at the side of her clothes and she made a motion akin to swallowing - nervousness. This was a new emotion, even for her.
"You have to promise me you will not tell anyone else."

It took a few moments for her to calm down, but when she did, she would start to open her mouth to start talking:
"Originally, the program I was built under - Chorisis Xanthous Ethological Vessel, which is what CXEV stands for - was to test their skills to see if they could design an artificial life form for those who could not reproduce or if anyone wanted to adopt the CXEV series for their own use.
"CXEV0001 was too unstable and therefore, was destroyed. CXEV0002 to CXEV0500 were stepping stones, but they did not live up to their standards and were also destroyed. CXEV0501 to CXEV2000 were better, but they were again unstable. Around CXEV2001's activation, the team began to lose their humanity and it showed with how badly CXEV2001 took to being alive."
She paused here to let Labrys catch up and process the information.

Labrys almost didn't want to know. But she'd gotten this far, so there was no turning back.

At least, that's what the newsstations would have broadcasted if word ever got out.

God, she remembered that battle and the time spent trying to deactivate herself after it - only to find her attempts were blocked or failed.
It was not a pleasant war on her side, and it never would be in her opinion.
"...Since we have gotten this far, I will tell you what my primary objective was: Eradicate humanity from the face of my planet. I have since been reformed, so please do not think I am about to suddenly attack you out of a whim."
no subject
Labrys fidgeted nervously--and she'd thought she had it rough.
"It's--I mean, if you were gonna attack me ya woulda done it already, so it's okay."
no subject
"I may have had a rough existence, but I do not mind it. I have been able to make acquaintances and see humanity rise, fall, and then pick itself back up again."
...Though, with the long line of bloodshed she had, she didn't make friends that easily, unfortunately.
no subject
She smiled at that, though it looked just a little forced.

And by "here" the narration means curiously poking around the first floor, looking for whoever it was offering sparring lessons.
A kid dressed in green carrying that magnificent purple-hilted sword: he's obviously looking for a fight. Or a nap.
no subject
She turned her head and waved at the kid, giving him a nod. "Greetings. Are you well?"

Did Levias try to beat up the tower before he got here
Levias he thought he healed you

Surviving anything of that magnitude definitely put her in a good mood since no one else had to die, right?
