Characters: Gimli and YOU
Setting: (Wrecked) Workshop floor.
Format: Starting with action, but I'll match you.
Summary: Gimli's doing some scavenging to pass the time. Dwarf jokes with be met with a Dwarf axe.
Warnings: None to begin with, except maybe cranky Dwarf, but by now that's a given.
[The place is in shambles. He's not used to destruction being so thorough, so... careful. Except for when he went home, much like Gandalf did, but that was besides the point. Gimli looks around, wondering if anything about this will be salvageable or useful somehow. But, he supposes, someone ought to investigate.
So should your character venture anywhere near the workshop, you'll find a dwarf rummaging around the debris, poking at this or that, and maybe trying to organize the remains.]

[So that was how a very obviously mechanical girl came to be rummaging through the wreckage as well. Occasionally she'd stop to regard something with interest and set it aside, or take a moment to move heavier bits of debris in her way without much effort.]

[Gimli is in a... moderately good humor. He's not happy, by all means, but only a fool takes out his anger on innocents. Besides, he is impressed by her progress. Her strength might very well rival his, and if there's one thing might impress dwarves, is strength.]

The whole place is lookin' like one heck of a mess. Guess I had some pretty bad timin'.

[Gimli offers a short, not very amused laugh.]
Your timing, I'm afraid, had nothing to do with this, lass. The bad timing is all theirs, all the time.

...I've been hearin' a lot of awful stuff 'bout this place.

[He pauses long enough to give her a more sincere smile.]
Most of what you might have heard, would not have been without reason. 'Tis not a nice place we have found ourselves in.

[That got a smile from her, despite the subject.]
Didn't really doubt it, comin' from the friends that told me everything. Heck of a mess we're in here.

[He offers a half hearted smile.]
You keep saying that, and I think you might be right. You have friends from your world here?

[He pauses.]
My friends remember me, but we seem to come from very different times.
