[OPEN] I walk out in the flowers and feel better~
Characters: Amalia & yours~
Setting: Floor 25 (Meadow)
Time: Any
Format: No preference
Summary: Sadida princess feels it's her responsibility to make things green again! How well she fares, that's still up for debate. Come bother her and make sure she doesn't pass out or anything from over-exerting her powers?
Warnings: Probably none.
This wasn't the first time Amalia had tentatively ventured up the staircase to the Tower's levels that had been ruined in the whale monster's attack, but she'd never ventured off the steps and onto the floors themselves.
Yet today was different and now she was standing in the torn up dirt that had once been a lush meadow. She knelt into the soil and carefully brushed some of the debris away from what might have been a clover patch before. "I'm sorry I didn't come sooner," she said quietly to the crumpled plants. "I was scared, but that's not an excuse. I still... have a lot to learn."
She pressed her hands flat into the dirt, closed her eyes and concentrated. Ripples of green light spread out from her in a circles and after a few moments, there began to be stirrings of new roots beneath the soil with a few tender green shoots tentatively raising into view. When she opened her eyes again, there was a radius of about 15 feet that was starting to grow again, like a young spring just recovering from a harsh winter. It was a long way from the lushness it had been, but now it could start growing back on its own.
Amalia looked at the rest of the ruined meadow, then down at the little patch she'd just created. She still had a lot of work to do.

(Excluding the basic premise of their being there in the first place.)

There is a lot more left to do around here, though, to say nothing of the other floors. Aelita may not have been here for the whale, but she still felt somewhat responsible now that she'd be living with everone who went through it.
"Is there anything I can do to help?"

She grinned at Aelita's offer. "If you want, you can help me make some channels for water? I don't know how often it'll rain on this floor so I may have to water them until we know they're strong again."

The question is voiced honestly if anything, since the way she sees it, getting to know people around the tower is better than not. Once Amalia tells her what needs to be done, she stands up.
"Alright. You may have to show me how, though. I'm not much of a gardener but I'll do what I can." She pauses, as if remembering her manners, then extends a hand. "My name is Aelita, by the way."

"You'll have to tell me all about it!"

She demonstrated how to use the tip of the spade to carve little channels for the water to reach the new growth. "Water is very determined so you don't need to make them very deep. Think of it as just drawing a map!"

Aelita finds the instructions simple enough, observing how deeply the channels are carved and how far out. Taking the spade, she starts to work on her own. "A map, I see. Like this?"

"It looks great. This will really help them."
