[OPEN] I walk out in the flowers and feel better~
Characters: Amalia & yours~
Setting: Floor 25 (Meadow)
Time: Any
Format: No preference
Summary: Sadida princess feels it's her responsibility to make things green again! How well she fares, that's still up for debate. Come bother her and make sure she doesn't pass out or anything from over-exerting her powers?
Warnings: Probably none.
This wasn't the first time Amalia had tentatively ventured up the staircase to the Tower's levels that had been ruined in the whale monster's attack, but she'd never ventured off the steps and onto the floors themselves.
Yet today was different and now she was standing in the torn up dirt that had once been a lush meadow. She knelt into the soil and carefully brushed some of the debris away from what might have been a clover patch before. "I'm sorry I didn't come sooner," she said quietly to the crumpled plants. "I was scared, but that's not an excuse. I still... have a lot to learn."
She pressed her hands flat into the dirt, closed her eyes and concentrated. Ripples of green light spread out from her in a circles and after a few moments, there began to be stirrings of new roots beneath the soil with a few tender green shoots tentatively raising into view. When she opened her eyes again, there was a radius of about 15 feet that was starting to grow again, like a young spring just recovering from a harsh winter. It was a long way from the lushness it had been, but now it could start growing back on its own.
Amalia looked at the rest of the ruined meadow, then down at the little patch she'd just created. She still had a lot of work to do.

"Of course... Wh-- What's Iop-ish?"

That was probably a kinder adjective than most people would have used for them, but she was biased because of Tristepin.
"It just means that you're doing something with all bold and brash."
no subject
"Well one cannot sit back and be idle! Sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands and DO something instead of nothing! Face the fear, face the danger, face the opposition and show them you are fearless! It is you they should fear!"
And that's how you end up in the graveyard Veigar...

"I certainly wouldn't want to wait around till they do something to hurt you. Err to hurt us, us! Blasted I should get to my lab and finish my work anyways!"

Amalia really wasn't sure how she felt about discussing the Tower owners like they were enemies, so she wanted to move the conversation into something else.
"May I see it?"

He started walking up the stairs and began heading to the upper floors. "You're an odd woman Amalia... in a, pleasant manner."

"Trust is not something I do often... Most beings aren't deserving of it, at least not in my life... You just... seem so different."

She seemed a bit disheartened to think that he didn't have many people he could trust, but it certainly helped explain why he was so rough around the edges.

He slowed his pace however, his gaze looking a bit down for a few moments before continuing. "I had teammates... yes. Comrades in combat even... But this concept of friends..."
no subject
She sighed a little. "And I was all right with that, because I didn't known any better. But then I made more friends -- real ones who saw me for me."
no subject
No Veigar, she doesn't have similar issues as you do...
"Then they knew not what they were missing then."

Once they arrived to the location, what she found might not be what she thought she'd find. The lab itself had many of the things you'd find in a lab, chemistry sets, assorted machines, odd contraptions... but there were also very random items that somehow didn't make sense as to why they'd be there.
Balloons, toys, plants, lots of doodles and drawings that had 'SUPREME FAIL PROOF PLAN' written on most of them, there were even a few inventions that seemed like they'd be more fun or pleasant to play with than do any harm...
But there was also no lack of those either, they just didn't stand out so much compared to the odd things that made up the majority of the items.

She moved slowly past him, taking her time to stare at everything. She is careful not to touch, but it's pretty clear she's awestruck by the lab.
no subject
"Isn't it? Hee hee hee~ I am glad you can see it. I don't bring many people here... They don't deserve it. You however... There's just something about you." He left it at that and looked over his lab with pride.
no subject
She blushed a little when he said that she deserved to see the lab.

"They can help people, yes." That didn't mean that they were their purpose.
"I used them to find ways to better eliminate our enemies, the monsters of this place. Or simply to make things more comfortable."
