Time: From early morning towards the evening.
Format: For Rin prose or action spam. Lancer preferably action spam.
Summary: Master and Servant are reunited. With this, both are a bit more comfortable in getting to know others. This is a joint intro for both Lancer Alter and Dark Rin. There's a prompt each for their room and two prompts to speak with them together at once.
Warnings: Possible monster gore. Will edit if other things come up. Consider visiting this permissions post for an idea of what possible things may come up.
►►► ROOM 01-15;
[ After the hectic events,
Rin’s rarely made much of a presence in her room. The girl had thought her curiosity was long deceased since she never felt any urge to explore it since becoming a part of the Matou family clan. After what seems like a week of staying away from the area, she’s returned to visit with other potential roommates. She’s already met with April and might be seen as actively looking for her in particular. Her appearance isn’t out of the ordinary for a tower full of weird strangers. With white hair pulled up into pink ribbons and red eyes that stare blankly at the items surrounding her, she doesn’t exactly fit the Japanese school uniform she’s sporting at the moment. Right now, she’s distracted with what remains of the mess.
So for those who happen to be in the room during the early morning, enjoy the sight of her kicking a phallic lifeless creature away from her bed, seemingly having been left behind from her trunk. ]
►►► ROOM 03-06;
[ Those walking by the suite might notice a distinct smell of something burning.
Lancer was curious as to how much of his power remained after coming to this world, so obviously the best way to test it was to light something on fire. Unfortunately for poor Eridan, he would find that his bed had been lit on fire via Lancer’s magic. He stands at the foot of the bed, smiling as he surveys his work. ]
Perfect. Nice to know that it still works.
►►► UNKNOWN CORRIDOR;
[ When it came to the monsters of the tower, Rin found herself lacking in fear. After living ten years with a true monster by the name of Zouken and a meddlesome one by the name of Shinji, there was nothing in this tower that could startle her. Hardly any of the beasts here could pose a challenge to her, leaving them to make way for her. Sending them skittering away, she walks the corridor with a smile unnatural to that of any human. Oh, but she very much was human, as she held up her hand to stare at with a bored expression. There’s not a hint of fear shown in her glowing red eyes, but something does catch her attention. Pausing in her steps, she’ll turn to look towards a set of statues.
A single raven etched out in stone stood a few yards away from her, seemingly untouched from the monsters that crawl in this area. Having heard when she was a little girl that they were wicked luck and carried bad omens with them, it should have been enough to keep her away. Instead, she draws in even closer. Suddenly, the statue and several around it stir to life, turning into the Archravens familiar to this area. Diving in towards her, they take her by surprise and carry her up into the air with the intent of doing what they always do. ]
Ravens. [ A voice familiar to the girl can be heard down the hallway. ] Why’d it have to be ravens?
►►► CAFETERIA;
[ Later on in the evening, Rin can be found sitting in the cafeteria. Instead of being by herself as she usually is, there’s a man ^^lancer link^^ sitting there beside her lazily. The two seem to compliment each other perfectly from the red lines that etch themselves along their features. For those magically sensitive, they might feel an overwhelming aura around the two, hinting that they come from the same world. Lifting a hand to look at the three strange red markings along it, the girl addresses the man. ]
It was about time you showed up. I was starting to grow really tired of having to fight on my own in this stupid place. [ She doesn’t sound very grateful. ] How are you feeling? Much better since we’ve made our pact, correct?
A little bit, yeah. [ Rin’s continual screeching is enough to dampen it though. ] You could try to sound a little bit happy that I’m here, you know?
How can I be content when their story is inconsistent? [ That is what disturbs her most about this place as she huffily folds her arms over her chest. ] The world being destroyed was a claim, yet it took you well over a week to show up here. Did you get distracted by chasing after some big-boobed idiot in the Throne of Heroes?
I wish. [ He gives an annoyed sigh as he rolls his eyes. ] It was probably some sort of weird magic. I don’t know. You’re the Magus. You tell me.
Hm... [ Strumming her fingers along an arm, Rin silences herself in thought for a bit. ] If I had to take a guess, I would say it had something to do with the Second Magic, meaning you may not actually be the Lancer from my world...
[ She stops talking though when she begins to notice the others in the cafeteria. A conversation like this wasn’t fit for the ears of others and she shows it by dismissing the topic with another one. ]
For now, we should sit here and see what information we can gather about our surroundings. When it’s less busy, we’ll return to the hunt.

❖ HALLWAY; this thread will be nasuvomit I swear...
S-Stupid Lancer! [ Her shrieking can be heard as the Archravens continue to carry her high up into the air, an extra pair circling around it as though they were vultures readying themselves for a feast. ] It was about time you showed up! For being the fastest Servant around, you sure are notorious for being late!
[ She's not really in any position to complain since she's so far away from him up in the air, but hey, a tsundere's gotta tsun. ]

[Cafeteria]
Is anyone else sitting here?
[If he's noticed their aura or is at all disturbed by their dark appearance, he gives no sign of it.]
[Cafeteria]
Does it look like anyone is? I suppose now that you're here, you're going to sit there? Well, get to it already.

[ Because really, what is he going on about with the 'you' thing? He can't possibly mean that idiot Lancer behind her, right? ]
no subject
Well if it isn't the weird looking kid. How's your bed doing?
Room 1-15
She was not expecting to see that when she talked into the room this morning.]
... What're you doing?
no subject
Cleaning up. I suppose we don't get a maid while we're living here, do we?
no subject
No, we don't. There are people with colorless collars around here that do cleaning, but they don't clean our rooms.
[A pause.]
... What was that?

[cafeteria]
When she made her way down to the cafeteria for dinner, her suspicions were certainly confirmed. She could easily pinpoint the Servant, and he certainly wasn't one she had ever recalled seeing, in her own war or the wars she had been granted knowledge of. And the girl beside him... there was something strange about her. Something Jeanne could not quite put her finger on. She had to be cautious, with this pair...
And it's that caution that holds her back from approaching for the moment. She goes about her routine, picking her meal and finding an empty table, but her violet eyes rarely leave the pair.
So, guys, how do you react to being watched?]
no subject
That is what Rin's so used to seeing in her life. Her own eyes, void of any life, staring down the monster in the mirror she's become. Red is more befitting the creature she's become as she grits her teeth in her annoyance. ]
Lancer. [ Not bothering to turn towards him. ] Do you feel that presence?
[ Flatly: ] If so, why haven't you taken care of it? You did want a good fight, didn't you?
no subject
[Lancer doesn't seem to entirely phased by Jeanne's presence. He was a warrior first and foremost, and he was ready to strike Jeanne down should she try anything. Waiting for an opponent is what always bothered him, but when face to face with the enemy he had all the patience in the world.]
I'm just waiting to see what she's doing. Why do you think she sought us out?

Well, it wasn't as if he hadn't encountered things like this before - and sharing knowledge could only help in a place like this. So out he walks with a plate of catfish and salad veggies, towards their table.*
I'm sorry, I couldn't help but overhear you...I have my own idea about the inconsistency you mentioned, if you don't mind hearing it. Do you mind if I sit here?

You've encountered it personally or is it something uncommon in this place?

.. Magic? Are you a witch? [ she glances at Rin, although she'd been staring at Lancer earlier too. ]
no subject
Maybe. [ Continuing on in a manner that's less vague: ] A witch is just another name for a user who can perform the miracle of magecraft, isn't it? It can be a word or it can be a title for a specific practitioner of magic.
