i just want to see the light;
Characters: Fou-Lu and OPEN (except for one closed thread with Mami).
Setting: Ruins of Floor 13, floor 4.
Time: Morning for 13, afternoon for 4.
Format: I'll follow you.
Summary: Troubled by the recent events, Fou-Lu tries to find some peace. He also decides he needs to have a more or less honest talk with Mami.
Warnings: Godangst, Olde English
[Floor 13]
[It was only fitting that he would find himself drawn here again. Even through the wreckage, he could sense that this was a calming place. It was not a temple made for the Endless, but it was made for a similar purpose, and so he can appreciate it - at least a little.]
[Carefully, he starts to move some of the rubble to one side. Perhaps he'll break it all apart into manageable pieces later, but for now someone heading to that floor will find a slim man moving large pieces of stone.]
[Floor 4]
[Clouds. That's all they can see out here. Fou-Lu presses a hand to the glass once more, before turning away. He wants freedom, and yet this place traps him as if he is a common beast. It offends his dignity as an Endless. He is not meant to be trapped and controlled. He is meant to lead and cultivate.]
[… Or he was. Now the mortals simply seem to desire destruction - destruction by his hand, which he will achieve as soon as his other half returns to him.]
[The mortals here, though… perhaps they are different.]
[He turns back to the window to stare.]
[Private for Mami]
[Fou-Lu waits for the farmer at the edge of the fourth floor, watching for her arrival. He had asked her earlier in the day to join him here at this time, but he is strangely nervous about it.]
[She is the one mortal he cares about. What if she rejects him because of what he is? He does not want her to fear him… at least, not like he wants the others to fear him. Respect, yes, but not fear.]
[But she has to know in this place, lest she find out in a more… unpleasant manner.]

[ At this point, pretending he didn't feel Fou-Lu's divine aura was useless, and he assumed Fou-Lu felt the same. ]

Indeed.
What bringeth thee to this place?
[Or is it just to feel him out? Because honestly he can't say he wouldn't do the same.]

[ He nods respectfully, see he's a totally honest
Godman. ]no subject
