Characters: Vergil and you
Setting: Room 1-02, floor 19, anywhere
Format: Action; can match
Summary: The usual waking up stuff, plus some don't got no sword rage
Warnings: Possible violence, nothing big
Room 1-02
[Digging in the trunk at the foot of his bed, Vergil curses. It seems the trunk belongs to him, but the most important item isn't there. But, then, there are others. It's certainly possible someone may have taken it while he slept. So, he begins to check the other trunks and each corner of the room. It must be somewhere if Beowulf is, that devil arm has its uses, but a swordsman needs his sword, especially such a powerful one.]
Floor 19
[Having given up his search, he has now made his way to the library in search of information. Others may be content to sit and stay, but he certainly isn't. He stands at the shelves to read, but there doesn't seem to be anything of much use. Though standing there doesn't mean he isn't keeping an eye out for anyone - or thing - coming too close.]
Anywhere else
[As night falls, Vergil pays no mind to the sudden appearance of monsters, but to kill any who attack him. It's lucky he did bring the devil gauntlets and greaves from the room, but of course he wouldn't go unarmed in a strange place.]

Your name. Is it a requirement that all half-demons must have a scholarly name?
no subject
Not like I was born a demon. [well more like part demon thanks to you Vergil.]
no subject
...You became a demon later in life?
no subject
Not my choice exactly.
no subject
Humans don't tend to suddenly become demons.

I was attacked by demons one day during a mission, my shoulder was injured and before I knew it- this thing popped up and now all my demonic power comes from it.
It turned me into a demon.

[..... :) ]
Point is, I have it.
no subject
I see it as my place to know of other demons living among humans. Especially one with knowledge of my brother. The point is not 'you have it', it's how this came to be, and how I never knew.

I'm no expert.
no subject
I see.
[So he's useless, then.]
And what of Dante?
no subject
What about him?
As much as that guy needs a babysitter, I'm not it.
no subject
When did you see him last?
[And, more importantly]
Did he carry a sword?
[Of course, he means Yamato or Force Edge as opposed to Rebellion, he expects Dante to carry that.]
no subject
'Course he did, he has that big one along with his guns.
[not cluing in about yamato.]
no subject
[You know, so he can go kick his ass (somehow without Yamato...) and get it back.]
no subject
....hmm... that sword belonged to his brother after all, so...]
Can't say I've seen that. [ 8) NOT TELLIN ]
no subject
[If Dante doesn't have Yamato, then it's most likely lost to the demon world. But that can't be right either, he had it in his hands, he wouldn't just lose it.]
Is that so?
[It's clear enough Nero shares Dante's point-of-view, and he did say Dante helped him. He doesn't seem very forthcoming with information, a bit standoffish. With all that and the fact Dante had spoken of Vergil, it's easy to come to the conclusion Nero already thinks badly of him, and isn't going to be helpful, and even lie for Dante's benefit.]
You can't - or you won't?
no subject
hm...]
Not my place to really say, I guess. I'm not in your little family matters.

Exactly.
[He returns the book to the shelf and turns to fully face Nero, crossing his arms as he leans slightly on the bookshelf.]
no subject
What? I'm not exactly good at explaining things. And besides.... someone else might need that sword more.
