Characters: Riku (
justabignobody) and Naminé (
lethechained), then O P E N
Setting: 5th September, Daytime, all around the Tower
Format: Action to start with, but I'll match!
Summary: After spending a month back home (and finding out that it is really all destroyed) Riku returns to the Tower. Clearly, the first thing on order is to check up on everyone!
Warnings: Non as of now.
[A - Dormitory Hallways - Closed to Naminé]
[It's... hard to say just how much time has passed since he woke from the dreams into a living nightmare, since he had realized that this wasn't another trick, another dream, but reality. How much time he's spent wandering, wondering, thinking.
Sometimes along the road, he had decided not to give up, not to give into the despair - no matter how tempting it might seem.
And the moment he reawakens and knows, feels that something has changed, he also knows that that was the right decision to make.
Finally, he steps out of his room, still slightly disoriented, but determined to find somebody.
(He has missed them. He has missed them so much and the ache in his heart is even worse than it had been in those ten months before he had arrived in the tower)]
[B - All around the Tower - Open to all!]
[Things are clearer nownot just because his hair and bangs are maybe just a little bit shorter). A whole month has passed since he had been forced to sleep. A lot has happened since, a lot he has missed. But even though Naminé has reassured him that everyone is fine, that non of their friends is gone or hurt (too badly at least), he needs to make sure himself.
So, for once Riku is the one, who systematically wanders the floors in search of familiar faces (and possibly running into some not so familiar ones). And for once, the relief of being back, of being back with people is showing more and more, with every passing hour.]
[ooc: a.) Please indicate the number of the Floor you want to run into Riku, either in the subject line or the tag itself!
b.) I'll probably still be using some blindfold icons, but as of now Riku is not wearing it anymore.
c.) Also, if you haven't please take a moment for his permissions post!]

You're welcome.
[She continues with her work a few moments, doing her best to avoid causing him discomfort, but it's not exactly possible to get around it entirely. She does not envy his position. Quietly,]
I'm sorry.
[Whether for sighing at him or the pain she can't get out of causing him, it is unclear. (It is probably both.)
Try telling that to her. She would have some strenuous objections, should she choose to voice them.]no subject
Of course, his standards of being taken care of and hers may or may not differ just a bit, but that's a different story. He leans back into her touch, to make it easier on her and because...]
...You don't need to apologize.
[For either of that. Sometimes he deserves to be sighed at - he knows that - and what discomfort she might be causing him right now just can't really be helped.
adkajdajhdn don't ever tell him. All dat mental keysmashing.]no subject
Except yes, that is a very distinct possibility.][She doesn't miss the change, and although she does not say it, she is grateful. In response, she runs her fingers gently over the portion of his hair that she just finished clearing of knots, her more logical excuse for the action being to smooth it. She has other knots to disentangle, however, and soon she must set about doing that again. Quietly,]
If you say so.
[She always feels bad for it nonetheless.
She makes no promises.]no subject
Good thing that that isn't up for discussion... at least right now.He presses back against her fingers, just a little - admittedly, this really feels kind of very nice. He closes his eyes as he enjoys the contact (and feels just a bit guilty about it), lips twitching up into a smirk.]
I do say so.
[And that's his final word on this.]

She'll get him next time--][Though she cannot see his expression, she does get the hint. So if maybe when she's done with the next section she does the same thing and is a little more thorough about it there's surely nothing amiss, right?]
I guess that's the end of it, then.
[Tee hee.]
I can't possibly argue with that.
no subject
She can try.Well, right now he looks very, very pleased with himself and her.]
Thought so.
[That really ought to be the end of this argument, right?]
no subject
Try, succeed, what's the difference--][It does seem to be the end of that argument, indeed, a quiet but bright laugh her only response as she continues her work. Soon enough, she sets the brush aside and takes just a moment to gently smooth all of his freshly untangled hair down, whether it's necessary or not. (There's a benefit to it for both of them, anyway.)]
[Her,] There. [Is accompanied by the quiet satisfaction of a job well done.] All finished.
So, how short do you want it to be?
