Warnings: violence, language, sadistic shadow, will add as more comes

Ishtar was standing in corner of the Art Gallery, her hands balled up into fists, as she bit her lips. She didn't want to deal with this anymore. She didn't want to hear any of this anymore.
"Cut it out, you almost killed someone," she mused, her tone was tired and exhausted. She was losing this mental battle pretty easily.

"He was asking for it, agreeing so easily to play by my rules. I only tested him, just like you always tested...Darres' loyalty to us" the Shadow replied, her glowing eyes fixed on the painting that resembled something like Pheliosta. She touched it, "We miss it, but we no longer have a place in it, right... Ish?" she chuckled, her hands slowly sliding down the painting, nails digging into it.

Ishtar bit her lip. The Shadow was right. Everything she said was right. She didn't have a place anymore, and she didn't know how to make of it even if she did get to go home and their world wasn't destroyed. She was still worried about What Duzell would have made of her.

"Yes, Duzell. He seemed really angry at me, because he didn't believe we were one in the same. Tell me, Ish will he accept us, knowing that we have such a disoriented story in the past three years? You've even considered killing others for the sake of the ones you loved. You even got your hands dirtied here, even though it went against everything we've believed in. It was time for a change right? So, are you still the gentle and kind princess that everyone loves and adores, or have you become someone who will be hated?"
The Shadow waltzed over to Ishtar who was cornering herself and backing as far away she could from him, but it didn't seem like it would matter now, since the Shadow was so close to her, dangling her cold arms around the princess, putting their faces inches apart.

"Back off," Ishtar almost hissed, putting her hands up and pushing the Shadow off, "I don't want to talk about this right now...I---"

"want to be alone?" The Shadow finished, "but we hate being alone...We were scared when we we lost, Zero...because what if the Consortium took Yujinn next?" she mused in a sing song voice, "Gaara and Yusuke are here, what if they disappear too, we'll be alone...we don't want to be alone?" the Shadow cooed, still keeping her iron grip on Ishtar.

"Stop it, I don't want to hear anymore of it!" she shouted finally shoving the Shadow away. There was a twisted look to the Shadow as she stood back up.

"Princess Ishtar, we are one in the same, but will you be like the others, and reject my existence? You know very well that these are your thoughts, your pain...that you've pushed away. How could you forget them, hmm?"

"Don't call me princess here, dammit!"

Ishtar
Shadow Ishtar
no subject
He goes to stand next to the princess. He isn’t going to protect her right off the bat this time. She needs to learn to face herself and get stronger. She’s better than this, he knows it.]
Ishtar, make this shadow eat her words. Some of it’s true, but some of it’s bullshit. Don’t fall for her tricks.
1/2
That stupid vampire interfering. somehow she really wanted to hurt him. ]
Shut up and butt out of this, bastard. This isn't any of your business!
[ The Shadow hissed. ]
no subject
[ Ishtar was highly surprised to see Duzell out of nowhere. She pulled herself back to her feet. That damn Shadow was even making hostility with Duzell. She wasn't going to have that. ]
You're right! It's none of his business, so stop looking at him and pay attention to me!
[ She shouted lowering her eyes. ]
Stop talking like you know everything that runs in my mind!
no subject
I'm making it my business. [It was Ishtar. It was always Ishtar.] Why don't you go panic some more? You're not gonna stay here forever. Ishtar'll send you back to wherever you came from.
[He reaches over and shakes Ishtar on the shoulder to get her focus back on track.]
Get a hold of yourself, princess. Quit getting sucked in. It's just a game to that thing. Figure out how to beat her.
[He wasn't going to be patient forever.]
1/2
No you won't. I'll make sure of it. Don't make me hurt you Duzell.
[ She wasn't obligated like Ishtar. She cared about Duzell but not to the extent that she would not hurt him. There were no morals with her and he was the vampire king. She was highly pissed off that he was blatantly rejecting her even though, she was like Ishtar! ]
I don't need to panic. I'll take her place just you watch!
[ As Duzell shook Ishtar she called a Holy Spell right at him. That vampire was not getting involved She was going to be Ishtar. Ishtar refused to accept her. She wouldn't allow it! ]
no subject
Enough of this! Aren't you hurt or tired of this? I am. I don't need this right now!
[ She lowered her head. She only backed up a little bit when he started to shake her shoulder. It sort of brought her back to reality but it still didn't get through to her completely. ]
I'm trying!!!
[ She shouted back at him, though not meaning to. ]
I'm trying dammit. Just....please stop.
[ Ishtar was trying to regain control of herself and her own mind. She didn't like how the Shadow was able to do this to her. ]
no subject
Stop? [She doesn’t look so good.] Fine, but if you don’t get your shit together, I’ll have to clean up after you again.
[He hangs off to the side and waits. He doesn’t have much patience. She’d better not dillydally.]
no subject
[ The creature hissed. It wasn't Ishtar, but it sure as hell was going to be more violent than Ishtar had ever been. She was already preparing a runner up spell. Thanks to that teacher of theirs, she was able to do much more than they could have ever done in Pheliosta.
Unfortunately, before she could react, Ishtar dived at her. ]
no subject
I wasn't talking to you Duzie! I was talking to her!
[ She almost snapped at him, but that's because she was mentally exhausted right now. ] Sorry, I didn't mean to...I just don't want to see you hurt.
Yeah, I know. I'll make sure to clean up my mess this time.
[ Then the spell was coming up and Ishtar didn't waste a second to tackle the thing down to the ground. ] CUT IT OUT?! Stop trying to hurt him!
no subject
Ishtar, that shadow’s all bark and no bite. I can take it. [He scowls.] Just don’t get yourself killed, okay?
[He frowns when he sees her tackle her shadow. She’d better not do anything stupid like break her head.]
I don’t care if you’re a clone, you little idiot. It doesn’t change how I see you. [He grumbles because it’s like pulling teeth out for him to say this.] Or feelings. Whatever.
no subject
[ She stepped in the way. ]
I told you to stop trying to kill Duzell!
[ She replied trying to stop the other Shadow from shoving her off. ]
He deserves it for trying to pretend like I'm a another clone of you.
[ She was getting so tired of this. Ishtar just shoved the Shadow down. ] Look, I'm just gonna say this once okay? So you better hear me out this time, other me.
[ She narrowed her eyes. ]
...That nice to know you think that way, Duzie.
[ but there was a bitter smile on her face. ] God, I'm going to hide under a rock when this is over.
no subject
[He's not afraid even if the shadow does manage to hit him with a spell. He's way too strong to die from that.
Mushy stuff over, he grins at her back. He's not gonna say anything else all touchy-feely like that. He only did it to get a few things straight. Stupid shadow doesn't know what it's talking about.]
Hide out in my room. You've already been doing that.
no subject
You can't ask any questions after this.
[ She sarcastically replied with a smug look. ]
I'm not going to fight you, and I'm not going to kill you. I have no reason to. You probably already guessed that already seeing I haven't tried anything.
[ She closed her eyes. ]
I've shared some of the things you think about but not in that twisted way. I know that you're not all lies and you're not just another copy of me. I still hate the Consortium and I would make them pay for the things they did to everyone I cared about.
It still has changed, so...I know that somewhere deep down you're really just me...trying to tell me that I need to be more honest with myself. So, you don't have to suffer anymore, okay?
no subject
[He goes quiet and watches Ishtar talk to her shadow. One of the humans said they had to hug their shadows. It sounds ridiculous. Is it going away now? Is this all it takes?]
no subject
[ She replied, a sad smile lining her face.
The Shadow lowered her eyes. ]
So, you don't deny that I'm you, no matter what? You won't be stupid as to turn your back to me, who is part of you right, Princess?
[ It almost hissed as she approached it slowly. Ishtar wasn't prepared to hug her Shadow, but she grasped the things hands within her own. ]
Yeah, I know you're just trying to tell me to be more honest with myself, and that I've got a lot of insecurities. It's a twisted way of thinking about it, but I know you're me...from the minute we met. You didn't feel like someone else, but rather part of me, so you don't have to be mad anymore, or sad.
[ She replied smiling briefly. ]
You better promise on that, Ish.
Yeah...I promise...so please.
[ The Shadow gave her a solemn look, before slowly dissipating on her words. ]
Don't forget.
[ That was when Ishtar toppled over to the floor. ]
Shadow!Gaara
[That voice comes out of the darkness as a figure slinks toward Ishtar's Shadow, appearing behind her.]
She's so weak... [He whispers into her ear.] Finish her off, best friend.
1/2
[ She mused grinning. ]
She'll be done soon, when I exhaust her little mind enough. I bet you're waiting for Duzell to back you up, aren't you?
no subject
[ Fuck her life really. It had his face. Well, it was like him kind of. It was another part of him from what she knew. ]
God dammit.
no subject
[He gives the original Ishtar a little wave, and a sweet smile that resembles his own original.]
I like this Ish better than you.
[He turns and licks the Shadow on her cheek, giggling softly. He knows Shadow!Ishtar doesn't mind him, even when he acts differently from normal people.]
no subject
[ She replied making a face as she stalked over to Ishtar after he said that. She was totally fine with the Shadow clinging to her, because they were not much different from one another just like that pretty guy. Unfortunately he was human. She spared him because he was kind of cute to look at. ]
Don't make her cry anymore than she has to, Gaara... [ she mused mocking Ishtar mostly and not caring what Gaara said. She petted his head softly. ]
Hehee, you are silly Gaara
2/3
[ Ishtar almost made a face at how fucking weird that was. She just pulled herself up to her feet, and maybe a little ticked. ]
no subject
[ The whole hurting people and the whole getting all up next to each other. It made her feel a little weird because she didn't see Gaara as someone who would do that and she would not easily accept that kind of affection. She was okay with most but that just looked twisted beyond belief. ]
What did you guys do to Gaara?
