03. whose fresh repair if now thou not renewest

Characters: Everyone who got injured in the event and accordingly went to the infirmary.
Setting: Infirmary, backdated to just after event.
Format: Either!
Summary: People obviously got hurt in all the chaos during the Tower's re-stabilizing. A lot of people probably went to the infirmary after waking up in their rooms still injured from the fight. Post a new comment thread here with your character and tag other peoples' threads!
Warnings: Mentions of injury, blood, trauma, etc etc. Language, too. Will edit if anything else comes up.

[Hospitals are so boring. Well, at least misery loves company?]

Nina's bodily injuries weren't that extensive. The damage was largely more psychological than physical, for her, the pain rooted more in the soul-shaking bloodiness of the combat and the repetitive, pulsating memory of that horrible broadcast, right before everything had started.

Still, there were a few bruises, some cuts, a few minor and unremarkable injuries that needed tending to sooner rather than later, rather than risk infection and turning a minor wound into a substantial handicap. There was a headache, too... but that wasn't life- or health-threatening, so aspirin could be forgone rather than having to rely on whatever the tower might provide.

She shuffled around for a little bit, gathering the things she might need, taking only what was necessary and nothing more. Knowing what the Tower was like, whatever she took would probably magically replenish itself, but with no way to know that for sure, Nina wasn't about to be greedy.

She soon became aware of another presence, though, hovering around the checkup area while she treated her small wounds with stinging antiseptic. It felt like someone was behind Nina. Waiting their turn? Was she blocking them?

She found back the creeping paranoia that her experiences both in and out of the Tower had engendered in her as well as the stab of guilt that she might be impeding someone who was hurt far more severely than she, and when she turned to face them, Nina smiled -- warmly, despite the melancholy lingering in the corners of her blue eyes.

"Sorry. I'm not in your way, am I?" Nina said. If their wounds were minor too, she would be quick, and if they were hurt badly, she could abandon the station now, or even help them dress their injuries herself.
