Characters: Everyone who got injured in the event and accordingly went to the infirmary.
Setting: Infirmary, backdated to just after event.
Format: Either!
Summary: People obviously got hurt in all the chaos during the Tower's re-stabilizing. A lot of people probably went to the infirmary after waking up in their rooms still injured from the fight. Post a new comment thread here with your character and tag other peoples' threads!
Warnings: Mentions of injury, blood, trauma, etc etc. Language, too. Will edit if anything else comes up.

"That's good to hear." He smiled back, reaching out to take the device. He had a chart with him, and he waved it vaguely. "This says I need to take your pulse, and it gives me some idea of what to expect. Any idea where is the best place to do that on a human?"

"I think people use the veins in their wrists or on the side of their necks if they're doing it normally, but if they're using a stethoscope, they do it on their chest or on their back," She explained, motioning to each body part as it came up. She'd been to the doctors before, it wasn't no thing.

More importantly! "So, if you're not a human, are you another troll?" Asked with a bit of excited interest.

"So not that different, then," Signless said, slightly relieved. He grabbed a stethoscope and twirled a finger, asking her to turn so he could reach her back more easily.

"I'm a troll, yeah. You can call me Signless. And the chart says your name is Echidna?" he said cheerfully.

Echidna obediently swung her legs around to rotate her body until her back was to the troll. Of course it was shock and awe when she heard his name, so she jerked her head back around to look at him with excitement.

"The Signless?! For real?! Seriously?!" Yeah she's too busy being excited to remember her lungs are crap. "Oh, yes I am Echidna! It is great to meet you~!!"

He blinked at her reaction, quickly reaching for the puffer in case she had another attack. "You know about me?" Surely she must have heard about him from one of the other trolls, but her reaction seemed too strong for that.

[metawoof]

"Yeah! My friend told me all about you! You're the troll that lead the revolution against the highbloods and first brought the ideas of equality to Alternia!!"

Naturally she spoke kind of fast, but so Echidna had to stop a minute, blink and take a few deep breaths. But she was fine, really! "You're amazing!"

Despite himself, he blushed. "Yeah, that sounds sort of like me. Except for the last part. I'm just a troll, okay? I had some visions and I talked about them, and people liked the ideas, I guess. And then I ended up getting killed."

[metawoof]

"But you were the first to inspire those ideas in the trolls! And you inspired the Summoner, and even the most recent Alternian Empress-To-Be thinks the Hemospectrum is silly!"

A beat. "Which it really kind of is. I never understand the cast-by-color thing." And a small shrug. If she kept going at this rate, she'd start sounding like a biography. "Um, but yeah! It is really nice to meet you!" Wait did she say that already? Oh whatever.

He laughed, a bit self-consciously. "Well, I'm really glad to meet you, too. Uh, though it seems like you know a hell of a lot more about me than I know about you..."

[metawoof]

"--Oh! Right!" Echidna chuckled sheepishly, before extending her hand out to him to shake. "My name is Echidna! I am just a normal human though. But my friends and I are big fans of you!"

He took her hand cautiously and shook it uncertainly. "I didn't know I had human fans..."

[metawoof]

"Well, we only know about you when a friend told us about you! I mean it's not like we're from Alternia or something." She paused for a moment. Maybe she should have held back a bit on the excitement. Hm.

A small frown crossed her face for a moment. "I am sorry, am I weirding you out too much?"

At the question, he relaxed a little and smiled. "No, it's fine. Sorry, sometimes I have difficulties with all the...adulation." He laughed self-deprecatingly and squeezed her hand a bit. "I'm really happy to meet you, Echidna."

[metawoof]

Well that was reassuring. Back to all smiling! "Eheh, sorry! I will try not to be too obnoxious about it then, if it makes you feel better!"

"Thanks, it might help." He grins. "It's really not a big deal, I just wasn't expecting it."
