Characters: Sollux Captor and open
Setting: Starting in room 2-06, but you can assume he's wandering the halls anywhere, since he'll go out exploring.
Format: I'll follow your lead.
Summary: Sollux has just arrived (again) and he's confused and Unhappy about it.
Warnings: None yet.
Sollux didn't remember falling asleep, but he definitely remembered waking up. He fought the sleep paralysis for the full thirty seconds, and then shot up from the bed the moment his eyes opened, his teeth bared in a snarl.
He'd been dreaming...something. Something bad. He always woke up badly when he dreamed about his own death, but the specifics were fading like wisps of fog in the morning, and he couldn't be sure if it was a vision or not. The voices were sure loud, though. Fuck were they loud.
He was distracted from the question of the dream, though, as he looked around the unfamiliar room in confusion. "What the actual fuck?"

Ed's brow furrowed, not at Sollux's lisp, because he didn't care about that. Right now he was trying to figure out what he was. His skin was a weird color, and Ed was pretty sure there were horns on his head and then... those teeth.
"Are you a chimera?"
no subject
Fuck.
"I'm Thollukth Captor," he said. "Tho now you have my name. TG ith a human I know who lookth like you. What'th a chimera?"
no subject
Wait. So he didn't know what chimera was...? If Sollux was one, he wouldn't need to ask what they were. He would have known. That's not the kind of thing that you can forget.
"It's creature created by using alchemy to combine two dissimilar creatures into a new, complete form." Enjoy your textbook answer, Sollux. This is not a topic he enjoys discussing.
"Name's Edward Elric, by the way."

Stupid humans.
So he wasn't TG, or any of the others, he was pretty sure. And that was weird, because if he wasn't any of the four humans, how had he survived the end of their world? Unless he had been brought from his world before it was destroyed, which he supposed was possible.

Ed stared. His eyes narrowed. "... And you're calling me a dumbass? How the hell is hatching from an egg normal? People don't hatch, dumbass."
no subject
no subject
And that shut him up.
"We're born we don't hatch"
Ed was not going to have "THE TALK" with Sollux. This was not going to happen. Not here. Not now. Not ever. No, no, no, no.
no subject
He waved that off. Really, now was not the time to discuss human reproduction. If there ever was a time for that, it was not now.
"Look, I'm an alien from another world. And technically, I wath part of creating your world, but I really don't care about that. What I care about ith figuring out where we are, and why. Are you with me on that, Edward Elric?" At least he could say HIS name, even if he couldn't say his own.
no subject
He'd seen enough the first time he went through the Gate to know that his world wasn't the only planet with life, but as far as this guy being part of creating his world? Yeah, no. It wasn't important and he really didn't care either way.
"Good to hear because I don't care at all, but I'm with you on that"

There was a note next to the bed he'd woken up in.
Sollux walked back to his bed and picked up the note to read.
no subject
This. This was a joke right? He reread everything twice over, focusing on five words: your world has been destroyed.
"What the... what the fuck?" He looked up, eyes wide. Sollux was reading something too. "Did you get one of these?"

What... what are you talking about?

Everything I worked for... Everyone's gone?
Maybe I did die in that mine. I think I'd prefer it.

He walks over and sits down next to him, unsure of what to do]
...Thorry. I know it doethn't help, but I know how it feelth.
no subject
Y-yeah. Yeah, I guess you would.
[he's alone again. everyone's gone. everyone. Pinako, Colonel Mustang, Winry, Al. Everyone. And out of all the people to spare, why him? Why just him?]
Damn it.

In a moment, he's dumped the pillows on Ed's bed and wrapped the blanket around the human, making a sort of makeshift and fluffy pile.
He'll give him a few minutes to let it sink in. Then probably they should go looking for some answers.]
no subject
Thanks...
no subject
He sits back a bit on the pile and looks up towards the ceiling]
You want me to go look around?

I'll be back later, then, and let you know what I find out. Thee you later, ee.
no subject
Sounds good. See you later.
