01 Lost Kid in Hallway Alert!

Summary: Bitty Yamato wakes up in a decidedly unfamiliar place - and his first instinct is to wander about aimlessly trying not to panic.
Warnings: None for the moment, except bratty genius child alert

Yamato was barely managing to keep his indifferent expression up as he made his way through this strange place's hallways. His geta clacked loudly against the floor, and he held his hands up to his chest as if preparing to suddenly protect himself against an ambush. Hey, he had obviously been kidnapped, so an ambush was very likely to happen!

He was, to put it simply, very scared. He had never left his house before, never even went outside, and suddenly he is placed in an alien building with the news that his world had been destroyed? How could that be? He was raised to protect Japan so - what would his purpose be now? And where was Alcor? Had he been destroyed too? No...no he was too powerful for that! No doubt he would appear at any moment and take him back home, yes...

He just had to find him!

So if you're wandering the hallway, you may see a young child in a black and gold kimono, looking more than a little frightened and confused. Don't try to startle him, you might get a weak Agi singing your eyebrows off - or do startle him if you're mean enough, just to see could hit the ceiling.

Yamato wrinkled his nose at that. Wear someone else's shoes...? Hrm, if it came to it he could make his own zori. They wouldn't be modern, but so long as he could find some good enough cloth, leather or straw, he could make a comfortable pair for himself.

"I will make myself some better footwear later on."

[alephbet]

"Good luck," Aleph answered, privately doubting that he'd find any but not willing to tell him that he'd be stuck with his impractical shoes.

[bittydragon]

"Hrm..." He sensed Aleph's dubiousness, but didn't call him out on it.

"How long until we reach the library?" His poor legs were beginning to get tired.

[alephbet]

"One more floor. It won't be that bad."

Briefly Aleph considered carrying him. Then he decided that would get him smacked in the face.

One more floor? Urgh. Fine. Yamato just wasn't used to walking this much. His days were mostly spent sitting down reading or writing or meditating - that and his health was on the fragile side.

He is beginning to flag a little though. Walking a bit slower.

That's fine. Aleph will slow down enough for him to be able to keep up. There's really no hurry.

Are they almost at the library yet? He is so tiiiiiiiiiiired...

He is not used to all of this walking. Walking is dumb. Who was the idiot that invented it...?!

But he will not stop to rest! He can rest at his destination! Whenever it arrived.

It's here now, don't worry.

Aleph patted a chair. "Have a seat. It's a big library, so I'll look for him for you."

Yamato had to climb up onto the chair - damn it being so small! - and rests gratefully. The library was quite large, and he knew he would spend some time here whenever he was bored. He wondered what knowledge was in all of these books...!

"Alright. I will remain here."

Time to search every area of the library just to make sure that Alcor wasn't in here. Nope. No dad here at all. Then he'd send out a quick message and return.
