oo1 ♚ you promised me the world, but now what?
Characters: Ayaka Sajyou; open to all!
Setting: Various places in the Tower
Format: Prose, but I can switch to match yours!
Summary: A dazed Archetype isn't exactly happy about the world being destroyed.
Warnings: Angst - the good stuff! No real warnings, though, other than spoilers.
Room 2-17
Ayaka felt sick to her stomach as her eyes followed the text on the paper. Her hands shook, not wanting to believe a word that these people were saying. Had she really failed to save Saber? No, it couldn't be....
"You're lying! You're all lying!" Her voice rose and shook and she banged a fist on the night stand. She didn't want to cry, that was the last thing she wanted, but her eyes stung with tears.
The master rose from her bed and made her way to the trunk, opening it up. She should probably change out of the hospital gown. Once she was in her school uniform, she made her way out of her room.
Dorms / hallway
Ayaka's walk around the dorm areas wasn't exactly pleasant, since she kept having to lean against the wall for some body support. She was still dazed about the world being destroyed, so her movements were more sluggish than usual. She simply decided to lean against the wall, sliding down it until she was sitting on the floor.
"Saber..." She called out, expecting her servant to pop up and start his usual teasing, but he was gone. Gone from his own sanity and this world now. She closed her eyes gently, a sigh leaving her lips.
Cafeteria
Oatmeal, the meal they were suppose to consume on their arrival. Ayaka said nothing as she ate - no whining, no objections, not a peep from her. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. Still, at least she had some food in her system.
She placed her spoon down for a quick minute and began to stare off into space for a bit.
Meadow
Where she wandered off to, she didn't know, but it was rather pretty. It was quiet, perfect for Ayaka, and she walked until she found a place to sit. She pulled her knees to her chest, sighing once more.
"Looks like my rescue mission is halted until I can get out of here," she said to herself, not even thinking that someone could be close by.

[And hopefully there would never be one.]
No you're not. If I had to say so, you'd be a cute Witch. Or wait, your Formalcraft lets you shift elemental affinities of spells, right? In that case, you're above average!
[He knows it's a bad joke, but it's the best one he can come up with for now.]

[ No Grail War, either. Still, she has to go back for Saber. ]
That was a terrible joke. You know what I mean by 'average'!

A-And I don't make cute faces...! [ Slight pout. ] You need to get your eyes checked.

[He doesn't argue the luck part. After all, surviving a spear to the heart and summoning a Servant at the same time is some amazing luck.]
Oh? What's this face then?
[He leans over, making as it to kiss her.]
no subject
[ She sees his movement, which only makes her blush harder and she quickly puts a hand up. ]
L-Lancer! This really isn't the time for this!
no subject
[This is just the most innocent face ever.]

[ Ayaka just went back to the first grade. ]

I-I-I don't have cooties! Misaya makes me and the dogs take flea baths!

Plus we're in public!

S-Shut up!

[He's enjoying her flustered reaction.]

[ She's not enjoying reacting to this. ]

... OK, but don't try anything funny. What crawls around here, anyway?
no subject
That sort of thing.

[ Oh, she takes a slight step back, on guard and ready to attack. ]
What is that thing?!
no subject
[His spear appears in his hand.]
Well, easy for me, anyways.

[ She really didn't want to waste time dealing with these things, so she simply gives him a nod. ]

[With that, he charges the creature. It's quite easy for him to use his speed to dodge its tentacles and get behind it, where he starts pulverizing the broken pieces of ruby. However, fatigue starts getting to him, and when he stalls a little too long between punches, one of the snake tentacles slams him in the face, knocking him to the ground.]
