Characters: Lion Ushiromiya and you!
Setting: Room 2-18, Cafeteria
Format: Starting out with action, but I'm willing to respond to either.
Summary: The tower has just gained one (1) androgynous blond person.
Warnings: None so far.

[Lion already knows the feeling of waking up somewhere unfamiliar, and it isn't a welcome one. Once the paralysis wears off, he manages to sit upright, somewhat slowly and warily and still a little groggy.

...well, he seems to be alive, at least. At least there aren't hundreds of black cats chewing on him and Will like he'd thought there would be...

Wait. Will. Where is he?

As soon as Lion realizes that Will isn't here, he immediately seems more alarmed.] Will...?

[Eventually Lion has to go through the whole first meal thing with the oatmeal, and as soon as he takes a bite and swallows it he groans quietly and rubs his forehead. Just when he thought things couldn't get any weirder at home, he's been brought to a tower where there are supposedly monsters lurking around. Great.]

I wish I couldn't think too hard about all this... [Since Lion is probably going to get a headache.]

I am the Golden Witch Beatrice, of course! But.. [ she points at him with the staff she's holding in her hand. ] I know the names of all the members of that family, and yours isn't one of them. Don't try to pretend this badly, okay..?

Bad thing to say, Lion. Her look hardens as she takes a step towards him now. ]

That guy's child..? [ if looks could kill, Lion would be six foot under right about now. ]

...yes. [Because despite how obviously angry she is, it's better than telling her the truth. So Lion stands his ground.] I was named successor by Grandfather when I was very young.

You-- .. you as the successor?! Why would that old gramps decide that all of a sudden?! [ She's practically huffing now, but despite the childishness about it, there's something more omnious about her rage too, especially when she starts shouting. ]

But I was the one who got chosen as the new head! It's me, it's me..! I solved the epitaph!

His moods change more often than the sky in fall. Only he can say why he makes the decisions he does. [Yeah, there are a lot of alarm bells going off in Lion's head now. He flinches slightly at the sudden volume in her voice, but he still doesn't budge.]

And there is no epitaph in my world, as it happens.

So you think you can just own the right to be the next Head like that, without having to do anything?! [ she can't tell if this person is a guy or a girl, actually, but.. she's just assuming a guy, there's no way Kinzo would give that right to a girl after all, right? ] Only someone who's worked hard to earn the right should have it! And that's no one but me! compared to me, they might as well go give up and die!!

Just because the headship was given to me doesn't mean I haven't worked hard to earn it, EVA-Beatrice-san. Even if it is hard work to get the title, you still can't stop working once you have it. Giving up and dying isn't an option for me.

[ .. What is.. this person.. she grits her teeth - just the very idea of someone else having gotten the title of head is so unbearable to her, just like when battler had said it in this place. ]

I'm not saying I have...but we can still reach a sort of compromise, can't we? You got the headship in your fragment, and I got it in mine. So technically we're both the head, right? [Yeah, just trying to be rational about this...]
