[o9] ‸^‸ Ninth Song || Beautiful Protector Ocarina Moonlight!
Characters:
Fem!Ocarina Rinku and
you costumed losers.
Setting: Room 2-16 -> Dormitory Floors -> ANYWHERE ELSE. This post is BACKDATED slightly to 11AM on October 10th!
Format: Action.
Summary: Link woke up as Beautiful Protector Mariner Moonlight and "he" is VERY UPSET about this.
Warnings: Sexuality confusion for those who aren't aware Link is actually a girl is going to get likely, because SHE WORKS THIS OUTFIT.
[ Here, have some mood music to go with this post. ]
[ There was the sound of a very upset scream coming from room 2-16 in the early morning on October 10th. Link had woken up not in the tunic they went to bed in, no, but a ridiculous outfit with a rainbow, shining skirt that was far too short for comfort. They'd raced out of the room shakily, nearly tripping and faceplanting on at least four occasions due to the high heeled boots, then into the bathrooms, attempting to pull the costume off repeatedly while looking at a mirror. But to no avail--it wouldn't budge. The hair extensions, it seemed, were actually part of Link's own hair, somehow, too.
Link turns to look in the mirror again, frowning, checking their chest. There's a small amount of relief when Link realizes that, at least, the bandages they used to bind with were still in place under the outfit, and the small skirt at least covered up their bottom half, meaning no one would probably ask any questions, or so they'd hope. So, really, at present, it just looks like a very pretty "boy" has been placed in one of the girliest outfits in existence. ... And wears it really well, actually. Link had a very toned body: the Hylian was in very good shape, extremely athletic, and had a good deal of upper and lower body strength. The muscles weren't so large that it was obviously screaming male, either, due to Link's rather... small frame and curvy build, so if anything, the outfit just ended up complimenting and showing off all the "assets" Link had.
Except they didn't want that at all.
Muttering unintelligibly, the Hero of Time would then be spotted trying to run back to their room... though they'd nearly trip several more times.
Once back in 2-16, Link began tearing clothing and objects out of their trunk for something to throw OVER the revealing outfit, making a small mess of their side of the room as they did so, completely trying to ignore whatever roommates might be present. The initial panic had Link tripping over themself to try and throw something, anything they could over the outfit, but no matter how hard Link attempted to cover up their embarrassingly good-looking and well-toned body in this revealing skirt, nothing worked. Eventually, they reluctantly grabbed the little pumpkin from the horrible Teddy Bear that held it. Though, they also took out their weapons and belt, which they put on over the outfit that, predictably, refused to be covered by anything at all. Link left as quickly as they could, not wanting to even endure their roommates any further, and thus began the trek to find "candy".
So, if you're even remotely someone Link might run into as a roommate, in the dormitories, or the Tower at large, prepare to be approached by one (qt. 1) very red-faced, shy Hero of Time stuck in this ridiculous costume. Oddly, "he" really passes off decently for a girl when stuck in this outfit, so don't be surprised if you're completely confusing them for Zelda until they open their mouth to speak. ]
E-excuse me... d-do you know what candy they... are referring to? And... how I can perhaps... get out of this outfit...?
[ OOC: Feel free to encounter Link at any point between now, the bathroom, her room, or leaving to explore the Tower. I should mention her chest is still bound if that's relevant--but feel free to confuse Link for someone else entirely despite the sword+shield and bow and whatnot she'll be carrying. ]

[Ugh. Halloween. Just thinking about the date reminded her of the gruesome sight from the chapel.]

Old... for what? I... beg your pardon? If it has to do with this... WRETCHED outfit they put me in that I cannot remove, my age has nothing to do with it.
[ Way to hit a sore spot; Link has a lot of problems with the whole being 10 and simultaneously 17 thing. But after a moment they just stare downwards before removing the note from inside the small plastic pumpkin they were given, which reads:
"Collect candy, or else!
10th - 5, 11th - 10, 12th - 15, 13th - 20
♥"
Infuriatingly vague, it doesn't say what "or else" means. ]
... Did they not leave you a note like this one? Am I really this unfortunate as to end up in another of these... r-ridiculous experiments?

[She wonders if this is some prank, but given the other going-ons in the tower...]
I suppose I was lucky enough to be left out of this "experiment", as you call it. In any case, I have no candy to give you.
no subject
... I was simply wondering WHERE it might be so that I could find it myself, and perhaps assist anyone else stuck like this. If I know these people, this will be far less than harmless. I am sure they will find some way to make us die from this...
[ Evil sentient sweets, perhaps... ]

Your costume does not seem particularly deadly.

Neither do small, stuffed children's toys. I believe they are called "teddy bears"? Well, thanks in part to the administrators of this place, I was beaten to death with my own friend's crystalized corpse by one of those toys.
[ Being here a year gives you some pretty awful stories. ]
I would not underestimate their creativity in this venture. Oh, right now it is simply embarrassing for me and perhaps fun for others, but later I am sure you will see people trying to kill one another left and right because they ate the wrong sweet and it suddenly filled them with the urge to slaughter others. If anything, every piece of this "candy" I find will be placed in this small container and once I am sure this is all over, it will be burned.

I...see.
[It seems that the body-switching had been rather tame by the Tower's standards.]
Do you not like sweets regularly?
no subject
... I do not eat things like them at all in my home. While there are sweet things in the Forest, there were generally not many things you would find made by a confectioner. Those were the things they had at the Castle Market. I had actually not heard of them until recently.
Even so, last time these "candies" were about, they made the people eating them act... oddly. I do not trust them.

Other girls you age and younger...I think they would have liked these confectioneries. I know at least one girl who would love this "experiment".
[Maria...]
no subject
... Is this a common tradition, this... what did you call it? "Treat and trick"?
no subject
[It would have been, at most, a slight nuisance; something to keep Maria sated for the time being. But then the Witch had chosen a different method of celebrating...]
no subject
Ah... I suppose that is why I do not know of it. Where I lived, there were no adults. No one aged. I did not live outside the Forest long enough to really observe the traditions most of our people had, so I am unsure as to if there was anything similar...
no subject
She would've liked that too...
