Time: October 12th-16th

Summary: Rei wakes up in an unfamiliar place. Oh well, time to explore this world.
Warnings: Violations of private space, possibly

Room 3-15

Rei wakes up to an unfamiliar ceiling. The last she could remember, she had been in her EVA. No, she had been her EVA, pounding at ADAM, showing the closest thing to God that TERRIFYING REI WAS TERRIFYING, even as her physical body was being consumed. They had sailed through the Dirac, transversed worlds, and engaged in a dizzying whirl of light and destruction. The fact that she was staring at an unfamiliar ceiling proved that it was over, and, since there still was an existence, she must have won.

She groans, the noise coming from a set of vocal cords that felt both raw and new at the same time. Guess she reconstituted herself as well.... Too bad she can't remember the end of her battle. It must have been really, really intense if it could defeat ADAM and give her amnesia at the same time.

"God's in his heaven, because he's terrified of our firepower." The words come out quieter than she would have liked, and her voice cracked a bit. Oh well, she's never completely reconstituted herself before, so she might just need some time to adjust.

She slowly tries to begin moving. Smack her lips, wiggling her toes, curling her fingers into fists. Finally, she thinks she's adjusted enough to sit up. The feel of the hospital robes against her skin indicate that she's no longer in her plugsuit. And yet, this doesn't look like any infirmary she's ever seen. There's also a cold, choking feeling against her neck, and when she raises her hand, she realizes that she has a collar. She would try to shape-shift out of it, but she doesn't want to risk it in this newly reformed body.

She takes a deep breath and jumps out of her bed. No matter what place this is, she's going to bring it some extra cheer!

"Heeeeee~ey! Wha'cha all doin'?"

Dormitory Area

Rei is walking around, doing everything from peering over people's shoulders and asking what they're doing to tapping on the walls, trying to find an air vent to crawl through so she can spy on people. Come bug her?

Cafeteria

Rei has a huge plate of various foodstuffs in front of her. However, she also has no bowls of oatmeal. And now she has more or less started shoveling the food into her mouth...

Monsters (Whee!)

Rei gives a little giggle as the imps's head goes flying from its body. It seems the tower has no shortage of monsters for her to kill, and she likes this. Now, if only there were Angels and Go-kun here as well.

"It's alright. The pain will pass. It's what happens when you don't eat some oatmeal first. Here." Tohko put a bowl of oatmeal and a glass of tea before the girl.

"Eat up. If you don't mind my asking, what's your name?"

"Thanks!"

She pulls the bowl toward her.

"Oh, I'm Rei. Hi!"

She wrinkles her nose at the oatmeal.

"Does everyone have to eat oatmeal first?"

"Hey, no problem. And nice to meet you, Rei. I'm Tohko Amano, the book girl. And yes, everyone has to eat the oatmeal first, or else they'll throw up. I know it tastes bad, but once you eat it, you'll be fine."

Not that Tohko was one to talk about the taste of oatmeal. Still, just by looking at it, she could guess that it probably didn't taste good to normal people.

"That's not a very good rule."

Nevertheless, she picks up the bowl and begins drinking the oatmeal right from the rim, only using the spoon to help shovel it into her mouth.

"I quite agree with you. However, I sadly don't make the rules here." Tohko noticed another piece of candy on the floor and ate it, which made her embarrasing costume loosen a little. It tasted like sand, but at least it helped.

"Hey, what did you just pick up?"

People weren't usually supposed to eat things off of the floor.

"A piece of candy. The head people of the tower have made a small game to collect candy." Tohko explained, holding up her pumpkin basket. "However, since I've filled my quota for today, I can eat some of it, which makes this stupid costume less tight on me."

"Wow, neat! Do I get to play this game as well?"

"Sure, if you want. I warn you though: if you don't collect the candy quota, your costume will kill you."

"Sounds like a fun challenge! What's the candy quota?"

[ooc: I already know about the event (I play Lancer), but I'm still unsure whether or not Rei might join]

Tohko chuckled. She didn't think she'd met anyone else who wasn't worried about their costume killing them. "Today, the candy quota is fifteen. However, it'll be twenty tomorrow, so you'll have to go to bed quickly if you want to start it."

[ooc: Ah, alright then. Sorry 'bout that..><; ]

"Hm..."

She didn't want to waste an entire day just sleeping. Especially since she just remade her body.

"How long do I have to sleep?"

[ooc: It's okay!]

"Just a short nap usually does it. While your asleep, your costume will be put on you. If you wake up with it and can't take it off and find a pumpkin basket on your chest, then you'll know that the game has started for you!"

[ooc: Alright then. ^^; ]

"I hope I get a pretty one."

She can always shapeshift out of the costume if finding candy is too hard.

"So how long does the game last?"

"Hopefully you will. I bet you'll get a better one than mine." Tohko chuckled a little before continuing. "It lasts until the twentieth, but as I said before, you'll die each day if you don't collect your candy quota for the day."

"Yours is already very pretty. Almost like what Zyuu wears. And don't worry, because I'm not easy to crush or kill."

"E-erm..thanks.." Tohko blushed. She had no idea who Zyuu was, but it was nice to know that something thought this thing was pretty. "And alright then. I'm just warning you."

"What happens to the people that do die? Where do they get buried?"

"Ah, death isn't permanent here. However, I've heard that there are penalties for dying, and I'll bet that they get even worse if you die in your costume."

"Ooooh..."

Rei's eyes are as large as saucers.

"I think I'll like it here a lot. Now, if only I can find Go-kun."

"Go-kun?" Tohko asked.

"My EVA. He's awesome. He also fell in the Dirac with me, and like me, he doesn't die easily."

Tohko wasn't quite sure what an EVA was, but she decided to just shrug it off and run with it.

"I see. However, as I said before, there are penalties for dying. You've gotta be careful."

"I'll remember that."

Tohko smiled. "Good. I'd really hate it if you died. You seem like a nice person."
