[OPEN] CLOWNING AROUND...AS THE JESTER

Characters: Allen Walker and whoever wishes to join in!
Setting: October 14th-17th, media center, cafeteria, anywhere populated, but on the 15-16th especially he'll be located on Floor 13, the Cathedral
Format: Action maybe but mostly witty writing--I can match whatever you throw
Summary: So...you wake up one morning, your back doesn't hurt anymore, stomach is quiet...and then you put on a clown mask for some reason
Warnings:

[Currently, Allen has no idea why he was putting his old clown mask on. It was well kept, in good spirits, but it's a creepy old thing. Especially on someone most decidedly not in a circus anymore. But his muscles are tired but strengthening. A new friend helped with his wounds, bound though they are, he is ready to get some...."exercise".]

[Anyone to spar with was fun with friends and all...maybe the red guy might want to lose some stress...but there are always monsters that are around to be fought and rewards collected. So, Allen decides--let's have a warm up.]

[Populated Area]

[Mr. Walker and his mask can be seen impartially walking past you. Why is he wearing it? His wounds have all but disappeared. His left arm, however, is still bandaged beyond recognition. Fairly winded, his gaze forever forward. Blood--likely not his--partially stains the clown mask but has since been mostly wiped off.]

[Can't quite put a finger on it, but there's a certain allure to his otherwise chilling appearance.]

[Floor Thirteen, the cathedral...]

[Hushed voices, as if from a sermon, can be heard just before entering the old building.]

[A statue of an obscured person of reverence decorates just behind the podium. More than the upper body is shielded from the eyes by a great darkness. Or, perhaps, there was never a top at all.]

[There are bloodstains all around the area. None of it human. Several grisly bits of fluid begin almost a violent dance to the head of the cathedral, small pools and stains leading up to where a darkened figure was standing just before the statue of the revered one. Hooded, blood spattered mostly around the rims of his long coat. Allen places his hand on the statue and looks up and sees it all. Is he in prayer? Or is he just wondering?...]

[He's over at the antique but still usable piano in the corner. Wasn't there supposed to be a pipe organ?...]

[His head bows to no one in particular as he sits down and begins to play it. Spots of blood not his own were rubbed along the floor as he had walked to the piano. It soaked deeper into his outfit as he began playing a soothing, yet not sad, song.]

14th day on the Cathedral floor

[Sadly for Kirika, she was part of an experiment going on within the tower. The girl was doomed to wear this cat outfit (minus the wig) while hunting for candy. She stopped by the thirteenth floor by the sound of pipes again. The melody was different from visits before. The girl peered inside.

When she saw Allen playing, Kirika sat quietly in one of the pews. She was good at masking her presence. She leaned forward to the pew resting her chin on top of her arms and listened. She had never heard a pipe played soothing music.]

[Kirika wasn't familiar with music. What makes music enjoyable and then sad? Like when she noticed the notes changed towards the end. That's why she was curious when she watched Allen played. She listened quietly as Allen played all the way to the end.

When Allen was done, Kirika remained where she was as she watched him from the audience. She tilted her head slightly to one side. Guess it was over.]

[Long as he walked perfectly, she wouldn't suspect any wounds. As he walked closer, Kirika rose up from her seat. The tail of the costume was used as a belt to hold the bucket of candy. When he was close enough, that's when Kirika spoke.]

Um... You played nicely.

[Despite her costume exposure, it didn't seem to bother Kirika at all. Kirika stared blankly at him. He was right about one part. She rested one knee on the pew's seat.]

What about yourself? [She didn't seem to be feared by that word.]
carrythesin: ([hmm; there's an answer])

[If anything, she could tell a face of a liar. She eyed on Allen's side for a moment until he asked a question. This made Kirika puzzled for a moment, looking down upon herself.]

...Is it that bad? [She got up again and began to walk towards him. When she was close enough, she leaned forward towards him. Personal space didn't cross her mind. Her hand gently reached to the side his hand clenched on, to see if her suspicion was true.]
carrythesin: ([blank; like a contractor])

The tower? [Kirika corrected him.

Feeling the bandage under the fabric was enough. Kirika has knowledge of first aid, and for someone to say something like that after a would there...

When the color of his face changed, Kirika leaned away and stepped back with her calm expression. That alone said enough to believe him.]

Same. [She spoke assuring him about the monsters as well. Although she doesn't expect her pistol to be more affective. Kirika stepped back to her pew across from him.] Did you come looking for candy?
carrythesin: ([still; like a good girl])

[She watches as he puts his mask away. Well that answers that. Kirika stands up one more time nodding her head forward with her hands clamp together on her lap.]

I see, thank you.

[Without warning, Kirika springs towards the stage. The last thing she wanted to be was a burden.]
