  [Awakening in the Tower only startled Feferi for perhaps... a moment. In fact, upon reading the note she was left, she breathed a heavy sigh of almost relief. Her home was gone, destroyed, and with it the caste system, her lusus, all her duties and responsibilities....

It was time to explore!

 She checked through her chest with delight, attaching her sylladex and strife specibus, decorating her odd squishy sleeping area with blankets and pillows from home, along with several adorable plushies from who knows where, setting her aquarium on top of the chest only to stop....
And realize she wasn't underwater.
She was on land.
Dry.
Land.
Newly invigorated and excited, Feferi burst out of her room, practically dancing with joy, colorful skirts swirling around her.
It was a whole new world, and it was all within her grasp!]

A' course I am, wwhy wwouldn't I be? It wwas mostly wworryin' that you wweren't as wwell but you seem to be totally okay so I guess I wwas wworryin' completely pointlessly.

[Oh man. He can use fish puns again. This is--well, okay, that's one bit that he'd only kind of token missed. But this is true, she looks older than him, now. HOW IS THIS--bluh. She's probably just another alternate universe person. But it's in his favour. For once. Wow.]

Not atoll. Though most a' this place's kinda flotsam to tell you the trout, Fef. There's all sorts a' floors wwithout much point.
