Summary: Mondo dies because he's been giving his candy away, mostly to Chihiro. Chihiro feels guilty about being alive at the cost of Mondo's life and thinks about giving up on his candy search... Help him find the will to live on?
Warnings: Suicidal thoughts?

Here is Chihiro dressed just like Mondo, pompadour, gang jacket (Though he has his all buttoned up so you still can't really tell his gender.) and all, though he also has floppy, brown bunny ears and a matching fluffy tail.

Chihiro sits on the ground of one of the dormitory hallways, his hands covering his face as he sobs as quietly as he can manage. His small body shakes with grief. Mondo is dead. Mondo is dead because of him... If he hadn't taken Mondo's candy... But his boyfriend had insisted on giving him the candy, saying this was part of protecting him....

Chihiro hates himself so much right now. He hates himself for being so powerless physically. He glances over at his bucket. He doesn't feel like collecting any candy at all today. Maybe he should just give up on collecting them. Dying isn't so bad, is it?

"Chihiro?"

It'd been awhile since he'd seen the kid around, but... Seeing anyone breaking down and crying in the middle of the hall was concerning, even moreso given the current, um... circumstances.

He pushed the glasses from his Ghostbuster Plasmahunter costume up the bridge of his nose, and cautiously kneeled down next to crying boy. "What's the matter?"

Chihiro tried to control his sobbing and rubbed at his eyes before looking up. "... K-Kurosu-sensei." He took a deep breath to calm himself a bit more. "I... My-My boyfriend just died..."

[nemophila]

His eyes widened. Oh... Oh no...

"Wh-- What happened?" Jun was a bit unsure about it, but... he slowly reached a hand out to rest on Chihiro's shoulder, in a small gesture of comfort.

"He... He... died because he came me all his candy!" With that he hid his face under his hands again and continued crying.

[nemophila]

Jun pulled a way for a moment, though he's not really sure that's the best move right now, and carefully rested his hand on Chihiro's shoulder again.

"Come on now... If he gave his candy to you, I don't think he'd be very happy to see you crying like this, would he...?"

Chihiro looked up, still crying. "But-but it's all my fault!"

[nemophila]

"No, it's not." Awards for the most hypocritical statements go tooooo--

"He's the one that made the decision to help you; you didn't force him to do anything."

[cutestprogrammer]

"But still... if I... if I weren't so weak..."

[nemophila]

He frowned. "Don't say that about yourself. That doesn't mean it's your fault..."

Hm. Well that was a bit close to home. "If you really feel that way, you can get stronger in the future... but that doesn't mean you should blame yourself now."

"But when will I ever be strong enough...?

[nemophila]

"You can only stop getting stronger if you give up on yourself," said with a smile. Hope was basically the best thing they could have in instances like this...!

[cutestprogrammer]

"I..." He was silent for a long while before looking up decisively. "Mn. I... mustn't give up on myself!"

[nemophila]

Jun nodded. "There you go. It's only when you give up on yourself that it's all over. Until then, you can keep going."

Chihiro nodded back confidently. "Then... I should go find more candy then!"
