Bleh heh heh! Bleck!
Characters: Count Bleck (
bleh_heh_heh_bleck), OPEN
Setting: All over
Format: Brackets for me.
Summary: Bleck is trying to avoid mischief. For once.
Warnings: Possible violence from candy collectors/victims?
Anywhere
[Count Bleck had, thankfully, not fallen victim to the ridiculous game of dressing in costume and candy collecting. And he made an effort to avoid those who had been affected for he could see that many had been altered and their minds twisted. He had no desire to involve himself in any of that. And good luck to any who wished to attack him, for the Chaos Heart still protected him.]
Floor 4
[The count sat quietly on one of the couches, gazing outside the window. Though he could see nothing of interest but fog and clouds, it was an improvement upon the scenery inside. And, here, he could think in peace. And his regrets would surface but not a sound would come from him.]
Floor 10 - Aquarium
[That he’d resorted to watching fish to ease his boredom was pathetic. For all the things he had done in his dimension, all his plans, all his hopes for dying and staying dead to be with Timpani and he was here. Watching fish.]

All the regrets. He turns away slightly to look back at the fish. Just so he wouldn't have to look at her.]
There is nothing that anyone here is able to do to stop this right now. All anyone can do it wait, says Count Bleck.

[There's a timid, uncertain note to her voice, but it grows steadier as she continues and warms a bit to the idea.]
What if you wait, and wait, and wait, but nothing will ever happen until you decide to stand up and stop waiting...? If it never comes on its own, isn't it true that people will go look for what they want themselves?
[Tippi seems wistful all of a sudden, relaxing a bit -- she barely even noticed she'd calmed down to begin with, but she flutters a little to express it. It feels a bit better to talk about it; Count Bleck, for all his faults, isn't very pushy or aggressive about his opinions, and might even be a little easy to talk to...
...Actually, isn't he a little defeatist? It seems a strange set of traits for a self-styled villain to have.]
That is what the four heroes were doing, as well... My dear friends. Now, it seems the bravest thing of all, even more than facing a terrible man-eating monster, or getting your last Game Over...

[If he sounds defeatist, it's kind of because he is. He was expecting his own Game Over with the Void. He's just getting along as best he can here.]
I've already scoured the library. Historical documents are gone, nothing regarding the administrators or the past of this world is left. No hints like the Light Prognosticus provided for you and your heroes.

It sure doesn't stop her from disliking it, though.
In fact, it's downright... irritating. Her disappointment slowly gives way to frustration, equal parts at the predicament and at Bleck himself when her tongue gets the better of her again.
Unassuming, he might be, but this was positively depressing.]
Why do you have to be like that? It's... it seems so miserable! How can you stand it at all?
I'm really trying not to give up... That would be like inviting everything to come destroy me, too... I know what I want now, and it's... it's--
[Wait. What is it? She just had something right on the tip of her tongue, and...
Ugh, again. How vexing this amnesia thing became when she was just on the verge of maybe getting something back...!]

And, for some reason, he wasn't eager to irritate or mock her, despite the opposing goals they had. Certainly the tower had affected more than he gave it credit.]
Count Bleck can feel nothing else. He has suffered a pain that cannot be fixed.
[He watched her with renewed interest as she cut off. What did she want? How many times had this happened since he met her here?]
You are strange for a Pixl, says Count Bleck.

It feels wrong to want to ask more, and certainly he wouldn't answer anyway, so she doesn't. Instead, Tippi tries responding to the second remark after a brief period of awkward silence.]
Why is that, I wonder? You are a strange man, yourself, you know...
no subject
That... is true. Count Bleck's people always were strange in the eyes of others.
