Bleh heh heh! Bleck!
Characters: Count Bleck (
bleh_heh_heh_bleck), OPEN
Setting: All over
Format: Brackets for me.
Summary: Bleck is trying to avoid mischief. For once.
Warnings: Possible violence from candy collectors/victims?
Anywhere
[Count Bleck had, thankfully, not fallen victim to the ridiculous game of dressing in costume and candy collecting. And he made an effort to avoid those who had been affected for he could see that many had been altered and their minds twisted. He had no desire to involve himself in any of that. And good luck to any who wished to attack him, for the Chaos Heart still protected him.]
Floor 4
[The count sat quietly on one of the couches, gazing outside the window. Though he could see nothing of interest but fog and clouds, it was an improvement upon the scenery inside. And, here, he could think in peace. And his regrets would surface but not a sound would come from him.]
Floor 10 - Aquarium
[That he’d resorted to watching fish to ease his boredom was pathetic. For all the things he had done in his dimension, all his plans, all his hopes for dying and staying dead to be with Timpani and he was here. Watching fish.]

Aquarium - hope this is alright!
She dashed her hand through the water, but that wasn't really destruction. She looked at her map, so many places still that had no loot buried. There wasn't even any candy to loot.
Oh but there was a person... The strangest looking person... well no actually that wasn't true. Not anymore. Nesir grinned and held up her musket, it didn't work any more, it had shot at Tohko but it didn't have any more... whatever it needed and though Nesir had some of the stuff she didn't know how it worked. She didn't even know what this weapon was, but people were scared of it so...]
You do be giving me all your stuff!
Totally!
Count Bleck has nothing to give.
[There was the Dark Prognosticus but-- Oh woops, it just disappeared after doing a fancy flip. Back to the safety of his trunk for the time being.]
And if I, Count Bleck, had anything to give you, what would you want it for?
no subject
I would be burying it of course. [Said like it was the most obvious thing ever.] You must be having something.
no subject
[Wow, Blecky, that was rude.]
Count Bleck has nothing for you.
[He'll even throw open his cloak to reveal the mysterious lack of limbs, just a vest, his cloak and gloves. He could probably use his magic to make his limbs visible but this was how he had lived among the Tribe of Darkness.]
no subject
She raised an eyebrow at his appearance] What manner of creature do you be?
no subject
[It had already shattered his sanity and changed his entire identity. Anything of Blumiere had been destroyed and replaced by Count Bleck.
'Blumiere is no more! I am Count Bleck!']
Count Bleck is the last of the Tribe of Darkness.
no subject
The Tribe of Darkness part caught her curiosity and she looked at the strange creature with interest.] You do be telling me more of this Tribe of Darkness.
no subject
The smirk he wore seemed to grow more cruel, as though it hadn't been creepy enough.] Count Bleck killed them all. Great users of magic they were but none could stand against the chosen executor of the Dark Prognosticus! Count Bleck! Bleh heh heh! Bleck!
no subject
[If it was she wanted it, she couldn't use it. But it was valuable, she could bury it and have the greatest treasure stash ever.]

From the moment it became clear this was not going to stop with just the first round of "festivities," she withdrew from everything wherever possible -- she hasn't spoken to many people since about the second or third day of significant deaths to avoid inciting bloodlust, and has holed up in her room at any other time.
But even that has become too much, and once she caught herself wondering if the people who were sucked into the Void went through much the same thing as the people being killed by their costumes, she realized she needed to get away from herself for a little while.
Fortunately, fish are good listeners, if nothing else, and are guaranteed not to come at her out of the water (well, almost-- no, no, stop it, Tippi).]
You fish remind me of Captain Gills... Maybe if-- when we go back, I should tell Mario to go check up on him. He grows up so fast...
[Her tone significantly changes after the slightly motherly remark.]
I'm... I'm really scared. Worse even than when I was trapped in that cage and treated like a pet... You must understand, right?
Watching this happen to everyone else... It's awful... I don't want this anymore. I don't want anyone to die!
What if... what if he's involved in it, too? I... I don't want him to die--!
[But almost the second after she says it, Tippi looks genuinely surprised, as though it was someone else doing the talking there. In glancing at the fish, they're as expressionless as ever; she wilts with disappointment, because something was almost within her reach, and then...]
--Ah... Wh-Why in the world did I say that, I wonder...?
no subject
He almost didn't pay attention to the presence of the Pixl, hearing only bits and pieces of what she was saying. He did catch that she didn't want someone to die though and the confusion that followed.
How strange. Had she met someone here that she worried for that much?
After another moment of watching her, he finally spoke up.]
Count Bleck can assure you that whoever dies will come back.
no subject
No... But that's not-- they shouldn't have to die at all! It can't possibly be much better that they're all coming back wrong... This can't be something for anyone to get used to...
It's so vile! How would you feel if that were to happen to--
[And then she listens again to the accidentally horrible thing that's about to spill out of her mouth, and promptly forces herself to shut up. It's not even because she's totally and utterly confused about this man right now (this time), but because, seeking to destroy the multiverse or not, he is still a person. It isn't the sort of thing any person with dignity and feelings rubs in another's face, however unintentionally.
All of this, occurring in the span of a short moment, is indicated by a brief flickering of Tippi's colors, a little akin to a person turning dead white of embarrassment, and a hesitant follow-up.]
No one should have to die for someone else's gain or pleasure... Knowing how much pain it caused, and all just to repeat it all once more later on...
[Although Tippi's word choice still has a clear, pointed meaning to it, her tone is more subdued, lacking in the bite that should otherwise be there. It never strikes her just how big of a baseless assumption she's making, though...]
no subject
All the regrets. He turns away slightly to look back at the fish. Just so he wouldn't have to look at her.]
There is nothing that anyone here is able to do to stop this right now. All anyone can do it wait, says Count Bleck.
no subject
[There's a timid, uncertain note to her voice, but it grows steadier as she continues and warms a bit to the idea.]
What if you wait, and wait, and wait, but nothing will ever happen until you decide to stand up and stop waiting...? If it never comes on its own, isn't it true that people will go look for what they want themselves?
[Tippi seems wistful all of a sudden, relaxing a bit -- she barely even noticed she'd calmed down to begin with, but she flutters a little to express it. It feels a bit better to talk about it; Count Bleck, for all his faults, isn't very pushy or aggressive about his opinions, and might even be a little easy to talk to...
...Actually, isn't he a little defeatist? It seems a strange set of traits for a self-styled villain to have.]
That is what the four heroes were doing, as well... My dear friends. Now, it seems the bravest thing of all, even more than facing a terrible man-eating monster, or getting your last Game Over...
no subject
[If he sounds defeatist, it's kind of because he is. He was expecting his own Game Over with the Void. He's just getting along as best he can here.]
I've already scoured the library. Historical documents are gone, nothing regarding the administrators or the past of this world is left. No hints like the Light Prognosticus provided for you and your heroes.
no subject
It sure doesn't stop her from disliking it, though.
In fact, it's downright... irritating. Her disappointment slowly gives way to frustration, equal parts at the predicament and at Bleck himself when her tongue gets the better of her again.
Unassuming, he might be, but this was positively depressing.]
Why do you have to be like that? It's... it seems so miserable! How can you stand it at all?
I'm really trying not to give up... That would be like inviting everything to come destroy me, too... I know what I want now, and it's... it's--
[Wait. What is it? She just had something right on the tip of her tongue, and...
Ugh, again. How vexing this amnesia thing became when she was just on the verge of maybe getting something back...!]
no subject
And, for some reason, he wasn't eager to irritate or mock her, despite the opposing goals they had. Certainly the tower had affected more than he gave it credit.]
Count Bleck can feel nothing else. He has suffered a pain that cannot be fixed.
[He watched her with renewed interest as she cut off. What did she want? How many times had this happened since he met her here?]
You are strange for a Pixl, says Count Bleck.

Humming under her breath she comes across him sitting on one of the couches. She does not want to interrupt him so she will simply smile and nod at him as she approaches, speaking a soft greeting.]

Re: Floor 4
He's not familiar with the language she spoke but he is curious. For a learned man like himself, it almost offended him, not knowing what was said.]
Count Bleck does not understand your tongue.
no subject
She will bow her head slightly as he acknowledges her.]
Forgive me but it is a force of habit to speak in the Elven tongue. I merely wished to greet you.
no subject
I see, says Count Bleck. Greetings to you as well, then.
no subject
Thank you. You have offered your name so now I will offer my own. I am Idrial of Lothlorien.
no subject
A pleasure to meet you, Idrial. Says Count Bleck.
Tell me of these elves, if you would?
no subject
And it is a pleasure to meet you. I only wish it was under better circumstances. [i.e not in this Tower.]
I am afraid that is a long history which would take me long time to repeat. What is it you would most like to know?
no subject
[He thinks over her question but eventually shakes his head.]
I have never heard of elves, says Count Bleck. Anything you would think to tell would be appreciated.
