[Count Bleck had, thankfully, not fallen victim to the ridiculous game of dressing in costume and candy collecting. And he made an effort to avoid those who had been affected for he could see that many had been altered and their minds twisted. He had no desire to involve himself in any of that. And good luck to any who wished to attack him, for the Chaos Heart still protected him.]

Floor 4

[The count sat quietly on one of the couches, gazing outside the window. Though he could see nothing of interest but fog and clouds, it was an improvement upon the scenery inside. And, here, he could think in peace. And his regrets would surface but not a sound would come from him.]

Floor 10 - Aquarium

[That he’d resorted to watching fish to ease his boredom was pathetic. For all the things he had done in his dimension, all his plans, all his hopes for dying and staying dead to be with Timpani and he was here. Watching fish.]

[He had to give her credit for that persistence. If she had lived in his dimension, he'd have taken her on as one of his minions. O'Chunks could have taught her the ropes. Or Mimi. Yes, Mimi.

Admittedly, as amusing as it was, it almost annoyed him that someone would want to take the dark book from him despite knowing there was no one here capable. Except perhaps the administrators.]

But I do be wanting it, so you do be giving it to me or I do be killing you and taking it anyways. [She drew her cutlass stepping closer.]

[The Chaos Heart would protect him if she attempted to attack him, so he simply laughed again.]

If you can kill Count Bleck, you would have to find it.

I do be good at finding things. [She stepped closer again before jumping at him, cutlass coming up to attack.]

Count Bleck will ensure the Dark Prognosticus cannot be found.

[He floated back a bit, out of reach of her cutlass but when she got close, a barrier appeared to block her.]

Nesir stepped back, not touching the barrier; who knew what it would do. "I will be finding it."

And Count Bleck will easily retrieve it. It is bound to me.

The book do be bound to you? [Her interest was caught, she had heard of people being bound to each other through magic but never items. Items that helped the users perform magic, but not ones that bound themselves to the user.] How do it be bound to you?

Count Bleck is the chosen executor of the book. His destiny is bound to it as it is bound to him. Only Count Bleck can do what the book commands.

You do be obeying the book? [That was different than what she had imagined, and even more interesting.]

Precisely. The book guided Count Bleck towards his destiny, just as it was always meant to.

I do be understanding, so you do be honour bound to be protecting this book?

In a manner of speaking, yes. My tribe once protected it, and now I am its keeper.

[culbutiri]

[So the book was incredibly valuable and powerful, if it had an entire tribe as bound protectors.] I will still be taking it.

Count Bleck will not allow that.

[It's power was more evil than incredible. And now his face turned grim, the entertainment this had been providing seeming to fade away.]

Then we will be fighting. [She grinned, enjoying this, she would get the book in the end she hoped, and fighting was always fun.]

[Oh, by all means, attack him. The Chaos Heart will continue to protect him with that barrier while she tries.]

[She's going to try anyways, stabbing at the barrier trying to find a weak spot where she could get through to him.]

[And Count Bleck will just float there and laugh at her attempts as the barrier blocks each attack. No Pure Hearts here~]

[This was annoying, but even Nesir knew when to give up. She stepped back and glared at the strange creature.] You do be a coward, letting your book be protecting you.

Count Bleck is no fool and no coward. The book will be had by none but Count Bleck and if that requires allowing the books magic to protect Count Bleck, it is acceptable.

[Actually, the Chaos Heart was protecting him but the less she knew the better.]

You do be a coward, if you do be bound to the book you should be protecting it not the other way round. You do be weak.

[She's given up trying to fight by now, she's just trying to provoke him.]

The magic of the book provided Count Bleck with a way of protection and destruction. Count Bleck does not expect you to be capable of understanding it or him.

I do be still saying that you do be a coward. [She glared at him, annoyed that he wouldn't fight her. He was no fun at all.]

You can think anything you like of Count Bleck but that does not make you right.

[He really wasn't any fun at all since he became a villain.]
