When the dream is over...
Characters: Meiling Hong and YOU![Dorm 02-15]
Format: Any! I will follow!
Location: Dorm 02-15 ->Cafeteria (Or anywhere really! Just let me know)
Summary: Another new arrival to the Tower! Meiling is trying to find a way to figure out what happened..and to block out those letters.
Slowly, very slowly Meiling wakes up to the sight of a....room? That startled her into a sitting position. This is not where she was supposed to be nor where she was when she started her nap! She quickly swung her legs over the side of the bed and thought in this, letting the letters fall to the floor.
"Huh?"
She leans down and picks the letters off the floor, opening one and looking very confused on the contents, as she was reading the one that was meant to be read AFTER the other one. Seeing as the first one made no sense, she opened the second one and her face falls. Gensokyo gone?
After reading that she sits there, just staring at the letter. The idea of Gensokyo being gone had her both confused and left in a disbelieving trance.
[Cafeteria]
After that letter and finding her normal clothing to change into, Meiling sat in a corner of the Cafeteria, eyes closed as she tried to think this all over. Everyone she knows and cares about gone...? She would not believe it! Beside her is a bowl of oatmeal that has not been touched at all as she is too busy thinking on what this all could mean, trying hard to find a reason to deny that her home for so long is now gone.

She's staying quiet this time, sure if she did say something, it would end up being something she wished to keep to herself for the time being.]

It was mainly Patchouli and I. Reimu, Marisa, Alice, Yuuka...they all came and went.
[She sets her chin in her hand, her tone going hollow, raw. It was almost too much to repeat, but the story had to get out somehow. Hiding it from Meiling wouldn't do anything good.]
Sakuya, Flan...and you as well.
[Her voice gains a bit of momentum, anger, even.]
Everyone was...ripped from us, torn from our arms...and she'd been there so much longer than I had. Months. Alone. She was hardly the same person anymore. She'd given up. They lopped her hair off, broke her bones over and over, burned her grimoire, made her slice one of her friends into ribbons, tore her arm off at the cost of saving me...and I still ended up looking like a piece of fried meat.
[Her fingers curl into tight fists.]
Dumped into a field of high-power UV lamps until I was nothing but a pile of ashes, then sloppily brought me back a week later. After broadcasting the entire thing on the network for everyone else to see.

Mis-...Remilia...

It doesn't really work, because the tears keep slowly falling.]
And she's probably still there. She's...probably...still at that place...
[A sob rises up in her throat, and she tries to cover her face with her hands.]
Everyone here who was at the Facility, everyone I've talked to who remembers it...they were all terminated. Dead. Ashes. So I'm...probably dead, too. Back there....she's alone...

We will free her...I don't know how yet...And we will get her back.
[She was shaking a bit, but keeping relaxed. She was enraged that something had brought this much pain upon her family but kept it at bay. Now was not the time for it.]

I'm sorry, I'm not even...half the person I used to be...She isn't either, she was...changed from the first day I got there...
[Evident by her even saying 'I'm sorry.' Woah someone's ego got knocked down a peg.]
It's been too long since I've seen you.

It's alright...There is nothing to be sorry for. We are family. Even if it takes forever, Everything will be okay...I swear it.
[Even though she can not be sure, she will still make that promise. She smiles softly, a sad overtone to it but still a smile.]
Then it is good to see you again, even in a place that isn't home.

There was so much else she wanted to say, but didn't, couldn't.]
