Morning - Cafeteria Kitchen

[Yosuke isn't really sure what's possessed him to come this far. It's not like he's ever had a problem eating the cafeteria food, but today? Today he finds himself in the kitchen, staring at a frying pan and with a bunch of eggs at the ready. An omelet. It can't really be that hard, right?]

[Sure, the girls all screwed it up, but that was because they were all genuinely terrible at cooking! No matter what he does, he can't do it that bad]

[Right?]

Okay, so... I crack the eggs first, right?

[Deep breaths]


Midday - Media Room

[And now that his mis-adventures in cooking are over, it's time for his usual pastime - wasting the day away in the media room! Today's choice?]

[Seems he's just kicking back and listening to some tunes. And whether it's nostalgia or something else, today's choice is certainly pop-ier than what he usually listens to. It's the upbeat catchy tunes of one Risette!]

Late Afternoon - Music Room

Dammit!

[He swears after a very sharp and wrong-sounding note. Closer inspection would show that Yosuke has a guitar in hand and while it's not clear what exactly he's trying to play, he's certainly trying to play something! Judging from the look of frustration on his face, however, it doesn't seem to be going well]

Come on, I get to be on stage with Gas Chamber and now I can't play to save my life? I was never that good, but this just isn't fair!

[And yet despite his lement, there he goes again!]

[Good judgement never was his forte]

I typically have someone else prepare my meals for me, so I doubt I will have to worry about her cooking. [It's good to be the king.]

And it is a pleasure, Yosuke. You may call me Saber. I have never delved much into modern music, so much of it is a new experience for me.

[Damn, she's used to personal chefs? Yosuke thought she looked classy, but that seals it. Whoever she was at home, she's definitely used to the finer things in life]

Well, I'll be happy to go over it! This style is called pop - it uses a lot of electronic instruments and it's usually just a singer or a group of singers.

If you're more into people playing instruments, there's a ton of other genres to try out.

I am more used to more... traditional instruments such as drums and pipes, but as long as it is pleasant, it does not matter how the music comes to be. It is all art in some form.

Actually, I'm usually more into rock - there's a few bands I've been really getting into recently. But I like a bit of everything, and well...

This singer is a really good friend, even if she can't cook. I guess it has some sentimental value, too.

Well... it's played by a band with instruments instead of a lot of synth usually, and it has sort of a harsher sound to it? It's less... produced, sometimes.

[Oh god her attentiveness is cute, so he tries not to focus on it. Instead he switches the song up, and suddenly there's the awesome tones of ROCK blaring from the speakers! It's moving! Life changing! Godly!]

Okay, now this is by a band that plays rock! Not all rock is exactly like this, but it's a good starting point.

I do like the beat and the tempo. I could see this style of music being inspiring for battle or other physical competition.

Oh yeah, absolutely! Though for battle, I usually listen to something a little different.
