The Laziest Diety

Characters: chaos and you!
Setting: All around the Tower, as chaos wanders around and learns about this place.
Format: Prose or action. I can go with either.
Summary: chaos wakes up and tries to learn about this new place.
Warnings: None that I can think of for the moment.

Dorm Room 3-06 and the surrounding floor:

chaos woke up with a yawn and rubbed his eyes. He liked to sleep, but he didn't think he'd pass out immediately after saving-chaos's train of thought was interrupted as he sat up and took in his surroundings. This was not the bottom of the Elsa. And he had an odd collar on his neck. However, he didn't panic. There had to be an explanation for this, even if it was weird that he passed out without realizing it and had a collar on his neck. He got up and noticed two letters on his nightstand. He read them both, and while one detailed the layout and some of the things in this place, the other letter had to be lying. If the Lower Domain was destroyed, than he'd be destroyed along with it. Since he was alive, this note was a lie.

Noticing a chest at the bottom of his bed, chaos opened it. Inside was a bodysuit, some gloves, a Bunnie plush, a notebook, a box of curry mix, and..Alice In Wonderland. Despite the situation, chaos smiled. It had been quite a long time since he'd seen a book. Since his dorm room was empty, chaos wandered out, wondering if he'd see the Elsa crew soon, or someone familiar. He'd also need to eat something-which he technically didn't have to eat, it was an enjoyable experience-and find out more about this place.

Cafeteria:

When chaos wandered into the cafeteria and sat down, a person wearing a red collar put a bowl of oatmeal in front of him before wandering off. chaos could tell that the person wasn't human and guessed that it was a robot or a Realian of sorts. People that were like him usually stayed and talked. While the oatmeal wasn't that tasty, chaos had eaten worse in his long lifetime. Besides, human or not, it would be a little rude to not to eat it when it was offered.

Library (Third Floor):

While chaos was a little sad to see that the history sections had been pulled, he was happy to see that there were so many books. It was a welcome sight after so long. However, as chaos looked through the shelves, he wondered who had pulled them. Who was controlling this tower? That's what chaos thought this place was, from the looks of things.

[ An uncharacteristic yawn escaped the march warden as he placed the book down upon the table beside him. On a usual day, Haldir could always be found here amongst these tall towering shelves of books. The library, much like the meadow, was one of the few places here in the tower that he honestly enjoys. If he wasn't either carving wooden figurines or testing his sword arm, Haldir could always be found here in the library.

However, today it would seem that fatigue has overwhelmed his love for books today. The elf sleepily rubbed his eyes, trying in vain to stay awake long enough to read another chapter. It's rather uncommon for elves to need sleep at all but after literally staying awake for about a full week, Haldir was about to crash.

Picking up the book again, another loud yawn escaped him. ]

[KOS-MOS herself didn't need to eat, never would. So she was free of the burden of eating oatmeal. However, her sensors picked up a familiar lifesign, odd though it was. She walked as silently as possible down each floor until there, clicking heels being the only warning that she was entering the room.

She kept her visor up now, finding that people approached her more easily without it and asked fewer questions, and then she looked towards chaos. If she was surprised (she wasn't) there was no way of telling.]

Good morning, chaos.

[Came her typically flat voice and she closed the distance left between them. She didn't sit down, there really was no reason for her to, and shook her head.]

It is not possible to determine the location of the tower in reference to known planets in the Galaxy Federation.

As of now, there are only two other people here: Allen Ridgely and Wilhelm. There's is not currently enough data to determine the location of the crew of the Elsa or our companions.

[And she hadn't even mentioned that Allen was technically dead but that could wait. Or never happen. He'd figure it out on his own eventually, or from Wilhelm.]

The only information currently on file is that there is a small group of individuals referred to as 'the administrators' and that they are difficult to contact. It is logical to assume that they are the ones responsible for the collars.

I was told that they are likely not to respond to anyone attempting to contact them, however it was not referred to as impossible. The swiftest method of contacting someone is via the communication terminals around the tower.

[ The elf blinked his eyes curiously once he heard the unasked advice. His gaze shifted away from the book he was reading and over towards the strange white-haired boy nearby. ]

Was I truly yawning that loudly?

[ Haldir asked with a hint of embarrassment in his tone. ]

My apologies.
marchwarden: (❧ the night is dark and full of terrors)

[personal profile] marchwarden 2012-11-13 09:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Was he being scolded by this boy? Perhaps not, but Haldir couldn't help but eye the youth with a critical gaze. ]

I'll rest when needed, good sir. Until then, I must find a way to pass the time.

[ Rather humored by the boy's forward way of speaking, the march warden decides to ask for a name. ]

If I may ask, what is your name? I cannot say I've seen you here before.

[personal profile] marchwarden 2012-11-13 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
[ The elf just sat there stunned, utterly stunned that this boy seemed to be capable of reading his thoughts as clear as day. How would chaos know that he hasn't slept for a week, and precisely a week? They have never met until now, but the youth seems capable of reading him as well as any book.

This unnerves Haldir. ]

..I suppose you're right. Although, my stubbornness shan't allow for me to tire so easily.

[ A newly arrived, eh? This poor boy has no idea what sort of horrors await for him here. ]

Scans of the tower during both day hours and night hours have determined that there are no Gnosis present here. There are however various creatures that are excessively violent towards those brought here.

They usually appear during the night. However, there are several floors in which monsters will appear during the day and one floor that never experiences daytime.

Floor thirty is always night and floor twenty-six seems to have records of monsters hiding there. I have only observed them on floor thirty, however, when the rest of the tower has daylight.

I do not but thank you, chaos.

[It's more out of Shion insisting she be polite a lot of the time that she added the thank you.]

"Have you found anything good?"

Rika observed chaos from a distance. Her gaze careful, calculating. She knew a thing or two now about being careful about what kinds of friends you made. In these strange worlds, where you were stuck in a personal hellhole, it was important.

"Any good books, sir?"
