Characters: Karolina Dean and you
Setting: Room 1-03,Floor 4, Floor 12, Floor 16,
Format: Action- I switch to prose upon request
Summary: Karolina arrives in the tower
Warnings: Sparkly lesbian vegan alien girls
Room 1-03
[She can't move. She can't move. She can't move.
There's fear in her, her heart is racing, and Karolina's not able to do anything but sit and wait. Then she violently jerks up, surprising even herself. Everyone around her should be used to this kind of thing by now, but that doesn't keep her from going]
Floor 4
[A pretty blond girl's pressed up against the glass, peering outside the tower. The way she's looking out there makes it clear that she's new here, that she hasn't seen something like this before. She lets out a breath against the window, then draws a little :( face in her reflection. Then she turns, as if to walk away.]
Floor 12
[Here, Karolina's not a blond anymore. In fact, she's barely a girl, instead, she's a swirling , fluid movement of sparkles and bright rainbow colors in the shape of a girl. Her clothes remain on, but everything else seems more fluid than solid. She flies about the room, examining each part of the projection in detail, then watches as the entire universe is swallowed. Her features remain steady, but there's a sinking feeling in her stomach.]
[Floor 16]
[Karolina isn't stupid enough to jump off- but she is here, in her rainbow alien form, hovering a slight distance from the staircase. She seems debating if going any further is a good idea or not.]

It takes Karolina two and a half seconds to turn, and dive down towards Molly, her alien form falling away as she went. She takes a perfect landing, not even stumbling as she falls into step. It takes two steps and another two seconds for her to throw her arms around Molly in a hug.]
Molls!

Karolina! I knew you would come eventually! Are you okay? You're not hurt, right? When did you get here? Are the others with you?
no subject
Molly, what are you talking about eventually? We were just together! I was going to ask you that! I just woke up here a little bit ago.

Floor 16
There doesn't seem to be much on this one, though, except a beautiful hovering form. Nina gasps at the sight, though she feels rude for doing so. There are a lot of people who look differently than she would expect in the tower. But this...person?...needs to be warned.]
Don't. I... Don't. I don't think you should go any further.

You know, I was just thinking the same thing. [Actually, she does feel like plunging into the darkness right now, no matter what monsters are hiding down there. But she's not going to just say that.] I was just... noticing how dark it was.

I know what you mean. It's frightening, isn't it? Sometimes I feel like something is going to come out of it. There are so many strange things here. [Her smile turns a little sad.] But I don't think we've met before. I'm Nina Fortner. Who are you?
no subject
I wouldn't say I'm afraid of it. The other room downstairs- the ones that showed the worlds with no stars, that frightened me more than this. [She blushes a little when she realizes she just said that, then falters when Nina asks her name. She might as well not bother with fake names- if she's stuck here, it's not as if the avengers can show up and drag her off to alien-prison.] We haven't- I'd have remem-- I just got here. My name's Karolina. Have you seen a little girl with a bunch of strange hats around?
no subject
That's one of the worst ones. [Her eyes cloud over at that. She doesn't want to believe the things the Tower wants them to, especially when it's so adept at illusion and she knows that. But sometimes, seeing that, it's hard not to...] I think the fifth floor is worse, though. I'd stay away from it, if I were you.
It's nice to meet you, Karolina! A little girl with strange hats? I -- I don't think I've seen anyone like that today, but this is such a big place. She could be just about anywhere. I could help you look, if you want? I don't think this place is safe for a child on her own, anyway.

[Erik watches the girl, raising an eyebrow.]
If you're unhappy about being here, do something about it. Drawing little faces on glass is little solution to anything.
[Erik is always the pleasant one, truly.]

[He rolls his eyes.]
I will never understand people in this damn place.

[She's wiped the window off with her sleeve already, but the annoyance on her face lingers.]
