Summary: Nothing much, just a light-hearted log of playing video games! And Darkra sucking at them, like usual.

So, Quiet Knoll. We meet again.

[Sora has been playing video games occasionally now that his mood is better. And this time, he's playing the sequel to the game he's already beaten: Quiet Knoll 2. ...And he's sucking just as badly as he did before, but he doesn't seem to care. ~~Though this may be because he's an idiot and tried to take on a game on Hard mode while he was rusty.~~ He'll have fun either way, bashing monsters with rusty pipes while looking for his character's supposedly dead husband. He's not gotten very far in the game, and in fact, he seems totally lost. But he is still staring intently at the screen!]

[ And, frankly, he's tired of people being so blase about things here.

He takes the controller and observes the controls before giving it a try. It seems that murdering things, even fictional, seems to be second nature to him. ]

I'm not. But I can't do anything until I have access to Dad's notes.

[That'll tell him things for sure, after all.]

Oh. And if she looks somewhere not straight ahead? That means there's an item in the room.

Ever thought about rebellion?

[ Yep, it does. He definitely knows what to do here to get Sora to his side. ]

[ He looks around the room and tilts the camera to see where an item would be at before making the character pick it up. ]

Rebellion? Against what?

[That has him confused. There's been attempts to rebel against the tower, but...]

You know, the one who's been spoon-feeding you all of this crap to get you to his side.

[ If Sora's quick enough, he'll know what Vanitas is talking about. It took him long enough to break free of his control and he's been grateful for that freedom. ]

[That? That is a really quick way to make him mad. He'll hold his temper in check, but he's obviously not pleased.]

I'm not going to just turn my back on him when he's been the only person that's always been there for me.

[Because he fears being abandoned, and he clings to consistency.]

[ He catches that anger, what with being used to it and decides to turn a new avenue into this conversation. ]

Look at this girl we're playing as. Do you think she wants to stay in this town, continually fighting monsters and doing the same thing day after day or do you think she wants to get out of there and explore new territory?

...I guess she wants to leave.

[But he can't leave behind the one consistent thing in his life. Not when everything else has left him behind.]

Right. So, apply that to your situation - the ones that have left the tower probably didn't mean to go home or wherever we're taken when the population dwindles. They probably miss you and all that sappy stuff.

[ God, where did this come from? Ugh. Vanimant will just casually roll his eyes behind his mask. ]

...They still left. I'm always the one left behind.

[He's a bit bitter. Why is he always left behind?]

What if they didn't want to because they still wanted to help you and the tower, as great as it is hospitable, decided to intervene?

[ Can you hear the sarcasm dripping from his voice at that? ]
