Summary: If you venture up to the graveyard tonight there seems to be something lurking about.

[It certainly had gotten colder all of a sudden. Though the graveyard might be dark a few scattered lights dance in the distance. Faint at first but they gave a distinct, warm glow. Getting a little closer it appears that they're surrounding a small figure draped in white. The folds of the fabric billowed ever so slightly in the breeze as they drifted through the collection of stones. Even though they haven't noticed you, you might have noticed their feet never once touched the floor. If they had feet. It was hard to tell.

Without a sound they stopped. A slight turn of the head, had they noticed you? Maybe not but there's a quiet sniffle and a few gasping breaths. Were they crying or...?]

Ah-ch!

[Probably not. Oddly enough it seems like there are more worms around than usual. Perhaps they have something to do with it]

[Now she does start actively trying to resist, tugging back on his arm]

Wait a minute that doesn't make any sense!

What do you mean revived? If I'm not a ghost then what am I? A zombie?

No, you're not a ghost or a zombie! You're just... whatever you are in the Tower. [Hey, some people think they're astral projections.]

[She squints a little, trying to comprehend exactly what he just explained]

[Whee, the kitchen! What a fun place. There's a table in the corner there if Wriggle wants to sit down.]

[Still trying to digest what he just said she lets herself get dragged along quite easily. It feels like tugging against a kite. In the kitchen she sits down, still with the sheet even though it's a little warmer. Absentmindedly she speaks again, obvious directed at Equius but she says it as if talking to herself]

So how does it work? Why don't people die when they're killed? Is it like that in your world?

I don't know... none of us know. It just happens.

Then how do you know it happens? How do you know everyone isn't just dead?

[With the sheet finally successfully untied she covers her bare legs with it]

...Can I have nectar?

Because we still have physical bodies and--

[How do you even cook with nectar? How does that happen? Sighing, Equius finds to his surprise a small jar of nectar, and tosses its contents into the soup. He then turns around to look at her, arms folded and looking much more responsible than he actually is.]

Alright. Now after you eat this you need to go straight to bed, understand? Sleep there for a while, and don't go anywhere cold.

[wrigurun]

So? I've kicked a ghost in the head before. They're actually pretty solid.

[With the soup in front of her she huffs a little. Wriggle doesn't really appreciate the lecture but it's not like she disagrees with the sentiment]

Fine, fine... It's not like I really wanted to be somewhere cold in the first place.

[The moment she puts a spoonful of soup in her mouth she spits it back out]

Blegh! This is awful!

[geometry]

Well I'm sorry, I don't really know how to use nectar in soup.

[He sighs and looks off somewhere else.]

Well what else did you put in here? It's not sweet at all.

[She's not going to apologise for it, it really didn't taste good at all. One the other hand she does feel a little guilty for snapping at him, he was trying to take care of her after all. In the end that makes her feel worse]

I don't know, a few spices and fruits and things.

[He glares at the pot.]

Sorry I couldn't make you something better.

[wrigurun]

[Fruits are good, she couldn't understand what it was]

It's probably the spices...

It's okay, even if you're a bad cook I can't cook at ah- ah-ch!

[Sniff]

Probably. Like I said, I don't know anything about what nectar tastes like, so... I probably picked the wrong ones. [Apologetic shrug.]

...You're still sneezing, though...

[Wriggle rubs her nose again and gives a nod]

Might as well, your soup is no good. I think I have some honey in my room anyway...

[Despite that she still doesn't move an inch, her eyes fixed on her knees. Some of the things they discussed earlier are finally starting to sink in]

So... I might not be dead? What about you? Have you died here before?

[geometry]

Alright, then let's go... you can eat your honey in bed, I guess. [He grabs a spoon. She'll probably make a hideous mess, but he's not really in the mood to enforce much more on her after his previous plan failed so miserably.]

...Yes. I've died before.

[Uh...]

[She cocks her head to the side a little. At times Wriggle may run on her own brand of logic but even that makes little sense to her]

Twice? You can only die once!

[Welcome to the Tower, dahling.]

I told you, I don't know how it works. But dying is kind of a... different thing now.

[wrigurun]

[Wriggle is still not sure she gets it but if Equius is making the effort to explain she should probably make the effort to understand]

So... when people die here they get brought back to life? Which means they can die and stuff again?

How do they do that? Does it happen to everyone? How did you die? Is there a limit? What if reviving people doesn't work properly? Is that what the monsters are?

[geometry]

Wait, slow down!

[Sorry, just give him a moment. Getting kind of frazzled here.]

I... I don't know how it happens, it's the Tower, obviously I don't. Uh... sometimes delays happen in revivals, but that's all I've seen... It happens to everyone... um... I don't know what the monsters are. They're just. Monsters.

[wrigurun]

[Well, that's almost all of them? She sneezes again and wipes her nose on her sleeve before looking up]

You said you died twice, right? Was that before you met me...?

[She wasn't sure why, considering all he'd just told her about the tower but the idea that he might have died during the time she'd known him scared her somehow. That this oddity had existed the entire time and she hadn't known a thing about it]

[Equius takes a moment to think about this.]

[It's making her throat hurt more than before but she can't deny she's curious about such a morbid subject]
