I've come to warn you he's coming for you
Characters: anyone carried away by the retrieval units in the mob thread
Setting: ???
Format: any
Summary: Death is far too easy for a punishment, you know.
Warnings: psychological horror, things that go bump in the night and then bump you back
The retrieval unit dumps you, in whatever state you happen to be in, into a cell. To those familiar with Jason, this isn't the clean, polished hospital look of Jason's usual quarters. No, if anything this is an abandoned hospital. There's mold on the floor and the paint is peeling off the walls. It's certainly high tech--the door that blocks your cell is made of some sort of nearly invisible force field--but it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a few decades.
Once you're secure in your cell, you will have the ability to move your body again. All supernatural skills have been disabled--no one is more powerful than an Olympic-level human inside these cells.
Interact with your fellow prisoners?

What is it this time?

There is absolutely no sound in the room, aside from anyone who might speak. Footsteps make no sound, and the air feels completely still, if thick.]
no subject
What is that? [He sounds groggy, and rubs at his eyes. He looks at whoever will meet his eye first and accuses:] Was that your fault?
[His accusations don't have to be logical to anyone else, they just have to make sense in his mind.]
no subject
Who among us would be capable of manipulating that cell, particularly deprived as we are of our abilities?

Hold whatever delusions you want, all it's going to do is prevent you from considering realistic possibilities.
no subject
Ugh, blah blah blah, I do not need to deal with your jabbering right now!
[And then he looks around, seeming to want to communicate with whoever it is that's changing the air pressure.] Stop this right now, whoever you are! I said stop it!

Someone is inside cell 037.]

*He finally gets up, expression tightening as his stiff and exhausted muscles complain about the movement, and walks to the door of his cell.*
Who's there?
no subject
Oh, thank you.
[And then he watches to see what Margulis will do.]

It's just another attempt to get under our skins.
no subject
And what a poor attempt, too. [He sounds calmer than he is, almost smug.] Creepy little children don't scare me. What do you think I've had to deal with every day back at home?
[And then he sits back a bit, scoffing under his breath. Still, he doesn't take his eyes off of the child.]

Stop that!
[He sits up straight, trying to keep his composure, but there's already far too much confusion going on in his mind. The voices, too, react to the intrusion, and they flare up in volume and in temper. Richtofen's eyes are locked on the girl's unnatural, twitching form.]
Stop looking at me!
no subject
The girl's body continues to twitch and jerk, but her head is locked in place, looking at Richtofen, and when she speaks her syllables are all drawn out--it's the only way her thousand voices are understandable.]
Nowwwwwwwwwwwww I dooooooo.
no subject
What do you want?
no subject
Richtofen was a military man, a man who'd seen many strange and frightening things in his life, but none of them had ever effected him quite as thoroughly as that girl does in this moment.
He remains glued to where he sits. Surprisingly, he doesn't say anything. He lets Margulis question her for now, as he tries to stop his hands from shaking.]

[Convulsing like that...doesn't look 'okay'. Whether it's the girl he saw earlier or not, there's clearly something wrong, so he has to help somehow...!]

How the- that ain't possible, you guys see that or'm I going nuts like doctor fucknut over there?!
[He desperately looks around to the other cells, hoping someone else saw what he did. Or maybe hoping he is going crazy. He's not entirely certain.]
no subject
No, I saw it as well.
