Raise a glass and toast the Flame
Who: Chidori and OPEN
Where: Floor 15
When: Throughout the week
What: It's getting colder- Chidori figures that everyone can use a bit of help keeping warm.
Warnings: None as of yet, subject to change if anything comes up.
[The offer she'd made was more to give her something to do other than think about the cold than any real show of good will. Granted, it was that, in her own way- after all, it would do her no good if people were too sick to fight. While she wasn't sure it would be called for, it was Jason's month to be in charge of the tower. She was already anticipating the worst, no matter how quiet things had been for the first week or so of his turn. She'd be stupid to let her guard down so quickly, or so easily. Still, she wasn't sure anyone would see her announcement- or if anyone would even bother to look at such a brief post- but better to try than not at all. In the meantime, she had Strega's measurements more or less memorized, she could get started on them first.
So moving to find some fabric, she decided to start on a coat for Ken before anything else, trying hard to keep her hands from shaking and grateful, somewhat, for the fact that Medea's fire affinity was seeing fit to keep her warmer than she should be. Hopefully, the cold wouldn't affect her sewing too badly.]

Ah... are you Chidori?
no subject
Yes. And you are...?

[He'd offer to help sew, but he'd probably just get in the way... he didn't really know how to sew anyway.]

[She stands, pulling her sketchbook toward her and opening to a blank page. She hates using the paper for such mundane reasons as measurements, but she has to keep track somehow.]
Though if you come across anything that you could share, I suppose that might help.
no subject
If I find any edible animals, I can share. I can give you the furs if you want, too.

Hey, are you alright? If you're cold, I could make you a cloak too.

[As if it's not cold enough, Chidori's tone is frosty, raising her eyebrows at the girl who's appeared in something like disbelief.
Bro, do you even sew?Her fingers tighten briefly on the fabric she's holding, lips pressing together thinly, and then her head inclines toward the cloak draped over the back of her chair.]I am quite certain I do not need help in that regard.
no subject
Ah, alright then. I wasn't sure if you had a cloak or not. If you're shivering, why don't you put it on? I'm sure you'll feel warmer..
[Tohko then sneezed over her shoulder, but didn't stop working.]
no subject
[That much should have been obvious- after all, she could hardly move freely with a heavy cloak draped over her shoulders and arms. She couldn't much say she appreciated being talked to like she was a child though- or worse, an idiot.]
Besides, I'm not that cold.
[Not just yet, at least.]
no subject
Ah, alright then. However, if you do need help with something in the future, let me know, alright? I'm a simple book girl..but I may be able to help.
[And she keeps on sowing.]

He cautiously walked into the room, which was a little quiet. So he knocked on the nearest surface to get some attention or at least let whoever was in the room know he was here.]
Hello?
no subject
She doesn't want to assume, of course- but the bandages are worrisome.]
Yes...? Are you lost?
no subject
[He heard because he had it read to him but, hey.]
no subject
[She turns to face him, not that he can see, and sets her hands primly on her lap.]
Did you have something specific in mind?
no subject
But if I'm not imposing, all I wanted was a cloak. One that was a dark blue...almost black.

She saw the girl sewing and frowned.] What would you be wanting in return for you to be sewing a cloak?
no subject
[Much less from a little girl- though she doesn't want her to feel as if she's being treated too much like a child. She knows Ken hates that.]
Unless there is something you think you can offer?
