Setting: The upstairs lounge (floor 38), Hojo's makeshift clinic
Format: Action or prose, will match.
Summary: Shion and Hojo have started a little clinic, as announced here. Much better than the administrators' clinic. There's only one maniac involved, after all. Specify when arriving in the clinic, as this is set up as a drop in post (though feel free to be vague) during the event for all patients and visitors.
Warnings: Hojo isn't exactly a good doctor.


Are you feeling under the weather? Or even worse than that? This month is a bad one for illness, it seems. Maybe it's the cold. Maybe it's something else.

In any case, there's no need to continue to rely on the Tower's clinic, run by drones. There's a new clinic in town. And it's run by--well, Professor Hojo. Sit back. Relax. He just wants to run a few tests... But Shion is also present, so don't worry too much. Aware of Hojo's true nature, he's something of an assistant, and something of a spy.

The clinic may be makeshift, but there's a waiting area and a more private examination area.

chaos, as promised, had wandered into the clinic, both to help any patients and to see what was going on here. Plus, it would be nice to meet Shiro..even if a certain nosy professor was there. However, chaos was sure that he'd be able to handle him. It wasn't anything he hadn't handled before.

Shion saw him from where he was sorting out bandages they had borrowed from the infirmary. He went over thinking it was perhaps another patient. "Hello, I'm Shion."

chaos nodded. So, this was Shion. "Ah, good evening. My name is..chaos. It is nice to finally meet you, Shion. Is there any way I could help here?"

"It is nice to meet you too Chaos," he nodded at the boy he had spoken to on the network. "There aren't that many people at the moment, but still a lot of organisation to do if you don't mind helping..."

"Oh, I don't mind helping with that at all. Where would you like me to start?" Working on the Elsa and living so long had made chaos accustomed to many things. He could handle some tidying up.

"It's mostly just finding places to put things." Shion gestured at the things he had borrowed from the infirmary.

chaos nodded at the piles of things. Well, he had taken care of things like this on the Elsa. He could take care of this, but before he did..

"Alright then. I can put all of this away..however, before I start, are you cold?"

Shion smiled glad to have someone to help, mostly for the company. Stopped him panicking about how he was going to inevitably mess this up and how people were going to be harmed by Hojo and how it was all his fault.

"A little," he shrugged, "But moving around is helping."

chaos smiled and nodded. "Well, that is good to hear. Pardon me for a moment though.."

chaos then put his hand on Shion's shoulder, and using his power, tried to warm him up. It wasn't strong enough to make Shion catch on fire, but it should have warmed him up for about three hours. However, if Shion smacked his hand away, it wouldn't last at all..assuming it would work on him at all.

Shion blinked warming up, he peered at the man wondering if it was something he had done.

chaos nodded again and removed his hand. "There you are. That should help."

He then turned to the medical supplies and started putting away some bandages in a cabinet. First, the bandages, then the disinfectant, then the rest.

So it had been him... Shion moved over with him and helped organise, "How did you do that?"

In his head, chaos sighed. Now, onto the hard task of making Shion either believe his explanation, or, at the very least, not question his power. As he spoke, he continued to organize, happy that Shion was helping.

"There are those who draw well, and those who run fast. Everyone has at least one skill that they excel in over all others. It's something that defines who they are. I am no exception to this rule: it's just something that I can do."

"So magic?" Shion glanced at him, he has been in the tower just over a year now almost nothing surprises him anymore.

In his head, chaos sighed. It wasn't exactly accurate..but he'd go along with it if it meant that his power wasn't questioned again.

"Something like that, I suppose.."

Shion nodded, he didn't have magic himself but he had seen plenty here. Enough so he no longer shut down when things didn't follow the rules of physics. Mostly. That one floor with wrong angles and such gave him a headache whenever he thought about it...

"It's a useful skill, since it's getting colder."

[In his head, chaos sighed. Parts of his power were useful, but the actual thing, the actual reason for it..that wasn't good at all. It had a use, but it wasn't one he liked.]

"I am just glad that I am able to warm people up for a little while longer."

"It will be useful, I have a feeling the extreme cold is going to provide us with quite a few patients." And having a way to warm them up could save them.

"Colds and low temperatures do seem to be good friends." chaos nodded. "Hopefully not too many people become sick..and hopefully the temperature rises soon."

"Ah, so it's you." Hojo caught sight of chaos and regarded him with an odd mixture of interest and indifference. "Let's see, what was your name?" Hojo rarely bothered to remember people's names, so he wasn't sure whether he had learned it in the first place. However, if he had, by asking, he would make it clear that he hadn't cared to recall it.

chaos smiled and nodded at Hojo. "Yes, it is me. My name is chaos." chaos didn't mind people being forgetful..his memory wasn't always up to par either, so he didn't mind people forgetting every now and then.

"Chaos?" Well, that was interesting. The white hair had already caught his attention, but the name... It was too bad Lucrecia wasn't here. She might have been intrigued. Not that Hojo cared about her ridiculous theories about Chaos. They hadn't amounted to much.

"So you've come to help heal the injured in some unspecified manner, I take it."

"Yes, chaos." chaos lightly chuckled at that and nodded. He knew Hojo was being serious, but the 'unspecified manner' part of it delivered like that sounded a little funny. Not that it was.

"I have come here to help in any manner I can. As I have stated, I cannot do much for internal bleeding and that sort..but I can mend small things, like broken bones."

Hojo had been more than a little sarcastic in his delivery, but then, that was often the case. It was hard to distinguish his definite sarcasm from his usual tone.

"We don't seem to have any broken bones at the moment, so you will have to unspecifically occupy yourself in some other manner. Cleaning, perhaps? A medical facility should be as hygienic as possible."

chaos nodded. "I can clean and help unpack, since it seems that you and Shion are still setting up. Just tell me where you would like me to start."
