Setting: His room (1-10) and the halls around it
Format: Will start out with prose but can match
Summary: Togami traumatized by his death, has been camping out for a couple of days in his room. But now he finally emerges.
Warnings: Mentions of a horrific death and possible spoilers for his canon in the following replies.


Room 1-10

In the corner of his room, Togami had built himself a little fort. He had books stacked a foot high borrowed from the library and a small stash of nonperishable food beside of it. He tried his best to avoid going out of his room as much as possible, as it was his only place of peace. After being eaten alive by a monster, his sleep didn't fare much better than his panicked state. He had large circles over his eyes, pale skin, and a shaky body. If one was to find him while he was awake, he would be hunch over some books. If one decides to enter while he's asleep, they shall find him tossing and turning while experiencing a nightmare.


Hallways

A little while earlier he was outside of his room. In a similar state like above, but now he carried a black bag filled with books and appear to be in a hurry. He just couldn't convince himself otherwise that the monster wouldn't reappear. His eyes were wild as he dashed to find his room.

Just down the hall lived another, one that had seemed to take an interest in him almost similar to Fuwaka in terms of twistedness. She was stalking towards him, looking a bit wild and not quite paying attention to where she was going. So in fact, on her way to her destination, Catarina could very easily knock him over.

"Watch it!"

Him and his sack of books went on the ground. He grumbled softly from the fall. He could have shouted at her for bumping into him, but today it was a different response from him. A much less angrier one.

"Excuse me." He dusted off his pants when he stood up.

A growl started to build in her, but she quickly grabbed onto the impulse and looked down at him. "Ah. You." She started to chuckle, the darkness in her voice tinted with madness and anger.

[egotist]

His blood ran cold when he recognize her voice. The consequences of screwing around with her was something he would rather not bother with. So he tries to scatter like a roach. "I need to go somewhere."

[grimgrimoire]

Togami, there are two kinds of people: those who can hide their sleep deprivation, and those who cannot. You, unfortunately, are part of the latter category.

So have a man, nineteen years old but probably no taller than you, holding his hand up in a gesture that would hopefully capture your attention in a way that wouldn't spook you. At least he doesn't look particularly malevolent, though the stoic expression and impeccably clean lab coat might look a bit imposing.

"What are you looking for?"

He blinks, approaching with caution. There was all kinds of awful things inside of this tower. He couldn't really trust anybody outside of maybe a few classmates from home who had been brought here. The man didn't appear like one of those who work for the tower at least.

"My room. I need to go back there as soon as possible, so you need to step aside."

[grimgrimoire]

"Are you having trouble finding it?" He was doing a very good job of keeping the judging out of his voice. (Yes, there was judging; there is always judging with Ienzo.) "If you are, there are nameplates next to the room numbers. I'm sure if you looked for your own name you would have more success."

[chainsawn]

[ .. Huh. That person sure seems like he's in a hurry.. hence why Urotsuki ends up staring at Togami a little as he's hurrying down the hallway. She tilts her head, before she slowly speaks up, waving her hand. ]

Do you need to catch the train? [ It's not even a joke. Seriously. Her expression is so blank that she can't be joking.. ]

...No? [He blinked wearily, why would there be a train out in the middle of-

Oh forget it, he didn't want to know.]

[chainsawn]

Oh. [ She nods to herself, as if that answer makes sense. She's just weird, okay, don't mind her. ]

Then what's the hurry for..?

Tohko had heard rumors about sections of the library going missing, and she herself had seen it. Not one to let a book thief get the best of her, she had staked out the library, even though her senses were getting worse. Eventually, she had seen a suspicious guy wander out with a bag full of books. She seemed to be in a hurry, and while Tohko was slower now, thanks to her eyesight being terrible and her light fever getting to her, she eventually managed to catch up with the young man.

"Hey, you there! Hold on a minute!"

At least one saving grace is that he was unaffected by the virus, that he was not even aware of thanks to holing himself up. He twitched at her call out to him and only gave a reply without even looking at her directly. He also speeds up his walk, very suspicious.

So, the guy wasn't even going to stop for her? That..just made him all the more suspicious, and Tohko was starting to think that he was the book thief. However, she managed to speed up, and eventually managed to grab the guy by the shoulder.

"I said hold up! I need you speak with you for a minute!"

Togami-kun?

[ She happens to nearly bump into him as she turns the corner. The way he's rushing like that is odd, coming from someone like him. So she calls out to him, hoping to know what his deal is. ]

Wait, where are you going?

[egotist]

[He relaxed visibly upon seeing her again. Somehow meeting a dead girl relaxed his nerves ever so slightly.]

Back to my room.

[idolizer]

[ Togami please...

What a sudden change of demeanor... oh well, it's the same old Togami, nothing to get worried about. Although she's got to ask. ]

Are you alright? We didn't talk since the other month when we arrived.

[On his way up to his own room, Mondo stops when he sees Togami in such a frenzy. It's a bit satisfying to see him worked up, after the way Togami acted at the school, and what he did with Chihiro. But on the other hand...he seems genuinely panicked, and Mondo knows how bad the tower can be. So, with a sigh, he approaches his former classmate, even if he doesn't look too excited to be doing so.]

What's wrong with you?

[egotist]

[Indeed, even if he tries to retain his normal voice while stopping to talk to Mondo, it's clear he is frightened. He can recall the exact moment he lost consciousnesses, his bones snapping and his body crushed as his life came to an end.]

I'm only trying to avoid that.

SORRY I'M *SO* LATE...!!

What's 'that'? Gotta give me more here.

Rose was hurrying to find a more well-lit area to stay in. Somewhere with lots of light, so that every nook and cranny was illuminated. Paranoid and looking over her shoulder every once in a while, it was a surprise that she noticed Togami at all. But that panicked look and seeming need to escape something was enough to garner her attention.

Because obviously he knows it's there too. She's not the only one being stalked.

"Hey, slow down a minute!"

[egotist]

He glanced over his shoulder. She appeared harmless, but you could never really tell with appearances inside of this cursed tower. And even if that was true, he really wasn't in the mood.

"I'm busy."

[tentacletrainer]

"But I think you could help m--" Excuse her coughing fit. But hey, it at least has her stopping from following him while she tries to catch her breath. She won't be stopped for long though.

[friendlyfiend]

A'kin had been just about to step out from one of the stairwells between dorm floors when Togami came bolting down the hall, forcing him to awkwardly dodge out of the way to avoid being bowled over.

"..Hey, you- where's the war?"

[egotist]

Togami glanced over his shoulder and nearly tripped back when he saw the creature talking. He almost wanted to flee right there.

"...What??

[friendlyfiend]

Speaking softly and calmly, A'kin slowly steps away from the stairs, careful to give the frightened human plenty of space.

"You were running like you've got half an army on your heels. What's got you so jangled up?"
