Room 1-10

In the corner of his room, Togami had built himself a little fort. He had books stacked a foot high borrowed from the library and a small stash of nonperishable food beside of it. He tried his best to avoid going out of his room as much as possible, as it was his only place of peace. After being eaten alive by a monster, his sleep didn't fare much better than his panicked state. He had large circles over his eyes, pale skin, and a shaky body. If one was to find him while he was awake, he would be hunch over some books. If one decides to enter while he's asleep, they shall find him tossing and turning while experiencing a nightmare.

Hallways

A little while earlier he was outside of his room. In a similar state like above, but now he carried a black bag filled with books and appear to be in a hurry. He just couldn't convince himself otherwise that the monster wouldn't reappear. His eyes were wild as he dashed to find his room.

Tohko had heard rumors about sections of the library going missing, and she herself had seen it. Not one to let a book thief get the best of her, she had staked out the library, even though her senses were getting worse. Eventually, she had seen a suspicious guy wander out with a bag full of books. She seemed to be in a hurry, and while Tohko was slower now, thanks to her eyesight being terrible and her light fever getting to her, she eventually managed to catch up with the young man.

"Hey, you there! Hold on a minute!"

So, the guy wasn't even going to stop for her? That..just made him all the more suspicious, and Tohko was starting to think that he was the book thief. However, she managed to speed up, and eventually managed to grab the guy by the shoulder.

"I said hold up! I need you speak with you for a minute!"

"I need to look in your room and in your bag for a moment! You're a suspected book thief, and the library will not tolerate it! However, to make sure I don't have the wrong person, I have to check. What's your name? We'll look in your room together."

He was lucky that Tohko was bad at reading body language sometimes, especially with her current eyesight. She just thought he was surprised and worried.

Tohko sighed and let go of his shoulder.

"Really? Then who checked them out for you? Who rang you up? You should be able to remember, if your really did. And search warrants don't exist in this place. The Tower doesn't abide by normal rules, sadly. Please, just answer my questions and show me your dorm and your bag. Your only under suspicion, so if you just cooperate, you'll probably be fine."

Tohko huffed as she looked through the books and at the checkout cards. Alright, so another librarian had rung these up for him..but there was no telling what he might be hiding in his room. While the library didn't have a limit on the number of books you could check out, if he had been taking books without getting them checked up, it would be a problem.

"I'm not wasting time, sir. I'm merely trying to do my job. It's bad for the library if we have book thieves running around. We only get restocked if the books get damaged, and depending on the Administrator, sometimes we don't even get that. However, so far, you're clear. Just let me look in your room and check that out."

"Like what?! A book thief is a very serious problem, both for the patrons and the librarians! And a moment ago, you had no problem with showing me your room. Why are you denying me access now? Afraid that I'll find out the truth? And I have no idea if you are that sort of person or not."

Tohko jabbed a finger at him as she spoke.

"That's true. However, it sounded like you didn't want me to look in there."

She then sighed. Judging by his reaction, this nearby dorm room was his. Well, here goes. She opened up the door..and saw a small fort made out of books in the corner. A fort! So, he may have been a book thief and he was building small structures out of the books! If they fell over, the amount of damage would be terrible. She turned back to face the boy.

"Sir, who sleeps in the far corner back there? Do you know who's been building that massive book fort?"

"Yes, yes there is! As a patron, you should be fully aware that we do have limits on what the patron can check out! We are usually very, very lax about how much people check out and when they return them, but this is going too far! We're starting to get holes in our shelves due to you not returning books! Furthermore, this is no way to treat books! If they fall over, their pages and spines will be broken and torn. That's no way to treat a book!"

Tohko huffed as she lectured the boy.

"I shall have to go through the stack and take back the books that have the latest checkout dates on them. In the future, please think about the books, the other patrons, and the librarians before you pull something like this! Do it again, and we will restrict your checkout privileges."

"The library may be large, but it's not like the librarians or the patrons are blind. And if you don't have a place to put them, use your trunk. Making a fort out of them is dangerous."

Tohko talked while she went through the stack, taking books that had been checked out quite awhile ago.

"I see..then maybe you should only read the books you have now before checking out any new ones."

As she went through the fort, Tohko carefully put the books she was taking away to one side and started carefully laying aside the other books next to the boy's bed. The pile that she was going to take away was getting larger.
