Silent dormitory rooms are lined with bodies--not dead, just sleeping. Throughout the tower it is pitch black and silent. At the base of the tower, countless shining eyes, watching.
The tower hums to life. Lights blink on in one by one; only the dormitory rooms remain dark. A small army of blank-faced humanoids appear and spend the next ten minutes taking various positions around the tower.
An order given. The dormitory room lights blink on.
You are awake.
You can move.

"Cécile? Don't tell me you've rearranged the room again," he whines aloud when his first attempt comes up with no nightstand at all. It must be on the other side. For now, the rest of the room goes ignored.
Though is this even a bed he's familiar with? When did he fall asleep? Why wouldn't they have just left him in the lab?

"What the hell's going on?"
last to wake up in the room. . .
When he could move, he sat up quickly, turning to see that he was not alone in the room. There were two unfamiliar people; a boy, another man; and then there was America who seemed to have just woken up as well.
"America! Where the hell are we?" Because somehow this is America's fault...

"Hmm?" Strange people, strange room. Oh. Oh dear. "This seems rather strange for a kidnapping..."

"Hey, what--There's no way this is what happened!" He waved the offending note around in a dramatic, unhappy manner.

He hasn't even noticed his own note yet, still intent on finding the responsible party for this situation and make sure they know they're bastards. And he'll demand to be taken back home, of course. He eyed the other bespectacled man (did he have blue hair?), and wondered if maybe he had more to do with this than the self-proclaimed 'hero'. "Hmph."

"Your world has been des...destroyed," he read slowly, concentrating on the letters and sounding out hard words, "I saved you. Let's all be happy here." He finished reading and his brain took in what he had just read, no... that couldn't be true. He looked over to the adults with wide eyes.

His smile faltered for a second, but only just.
"Destroyed? Isn't that a little overdramatic?"
no subject
Because he would have been dead, if his people were.

And then he finally noticed the collars around the necks of the others in the room. "You all have them too!" Different colors, strange design, and even with Romano's strength as a nation, could not be removed.

He pulled at it but it wouldn't come off. He took a shaking breath and tried to think of what Alfedo would do in this situation. He looked around the room, "Do you think there are others here?" He wondered allowed, because surely if you were going to save people from the end of the world you would save more than four.

Lloyd set the note back down and touched the collar around his own neck. He wouldn't try to pry it off, not yet. Certainly not with his bare hands. He moved on to examining the catsuit he'd been put in. "So we wake up with a new set of clothes and collars. Maybe it's a game."
He finally slid off of the bed. His first destination was to cross the room to what must be a door. The scientist doesn't open it immediately, instead putting an ear to it.
Let's see...

"F--man, that hurt!"
Kid in the room, he wasn't about to curse.

When it was apparent that the letters and collars weren't going to be explained anytime soon, Romano stood from the bed, frowning at how the white catsuit hugged his body in all the wrong places. He grabbed the papers on his own nightstand, seeing the letter about the others had seen before and another two beside it. The former was useless to him, so he read the others instead.
One read about the basics of the tower. It mentioned things about where they were to sleep, where to find food, and something about a 'network'. He scoffed at it, as if he'd obey all these weird rules after being kidnapped and lied to. The other letter merely mentioned something about a job he was expected to perform. And like hell he was going to do what they told him to.
"I think this is all a load of bull." The papers were left on his bed, slightly crumbled, as he moved towards the door where the other man was. "I'm going to look around, maybe find the stronzo responsible for this." Hopefully the man would get the clue that he wanted past that door.

He bit his lip when the other man called the first man an idiot, he hoped they were not going to fight. This was scary enough without adults fighting. He took the other paper and sat on his bed reading slowly. He looked up at the door as the man went to leave, he wanted to see where they were as well but he wanted to finish reading first, so that he understood more.
