Silent dormitory rooms are lined with bodies--not dead, just sleeping. Throughout the tower it is pitch black and silent. At the base of the tower, countless shining eyes, watching.
The tower hums to life. Lights blink on in one by one; only the dormitory rooms remain dark. A small army of blank-faced humanoids appear and spend the next ten minutes taking various positions around the tower.
An order given. The dormitory room lights blink on.
You are awake.
You can move.

Oh that startled noise was horribly undignified. Still her heart stopped beating a thousand miles a minutes when she saw it was in fact someone she knew. At least in passing. Her face composed into a worried smile.
"Norway, right?"
no subject
"... Canada," she takes a moment to glance around, "guess ya don't have any idea either."
no subject
"None at all. What was that note even supposed to mean?"
no subject
"Dunno. If our world's gone, we should be too." Which is the only thing keeping her from being actually a little worried about her sisters.
"Think the others are here?"
no subject
"We shouldn't be here ourselves, however, there's probably a good chance others are here if we are. I'd hope so. I don't want to be saved all alone."

Though she really doesn't understand any of this, she'd rather not believe her people were all dead.
"Seems like we should search, then."

She could only try to be positive. Thoughts passed through her mind though and she bit her lip to keep the words from slipping out. Her silent nod toward the door was all she'd let herself do.

"Ya mean how we couldn't move?" She assumed, at least, that Canada experienced the same. There was no reason for her to be the only one.

Crossing her arms, "S'pose there's no easy way to get out."

As they moved into the hallway, Molly moved to the door to listen. At this point, she couldn't hold herself back from jumping into the conversation, "I'm strong, I can break out," she said proudly to the two older girls.
She may be tiny (and young) but she wasn't lying.

"We don't know if there is a way out quite yet."
no subject
"The hall could go on forever." Norway wasn't particularly serious at this point, really.

"True but we don't know what's out there or what lies between these walls and freedom. It's safer to explore for now."
