Silent dormitory rooms are lined with bodies--not dead, just sleeping. Throughout the tower it is pitch black and silent. At the base of the tower, countless shining eyes, watching.
The tower hums to life. Lights blink on in one by one; only the dormitory rooms remain dark. A small army of blank-faced humanoids appear and spend the next ten minutes taking various positions around the tower.
An order given. The dormitory room lights blink on.
You are awake.
You can move.
Asdfgk sorry if this is rude, she is just a bitch djhdjd
"N-No," she finally manages to say, coughing softly to clear her throat as she reaches for the bed and tugs the sheet off it. She feels too exposed like this, even if she is technically covered. "I just woke up here myself..."
It's cool! <3
"This doesn't look like a prison," she says, "which means it's more likely we were kidnapped." It's only then that she notices the notes sitting on the stand beside her bed; picking them up, she starts to read. "Your world has been destroyed. I saved you. Let's all be happy here."
Late whoops ;;
And that voice sounds kinda - "Oh hey, it's you," she mumbles at the blurry shape of Romana, rubbing at her eyes. This isn't the bed she remembers having fallen asleep in. And she doesn't remember seeing Romana last night either, but stranger things have happened.
She hears "world has been destroyed" from a voice that she doesn't recognise, and that makes her frantically clamber up onto her feet. "What the hell?"

Chaplin glances over at the newly-awakened girl. "These letters on our nightstands," she replies, sounding only slightly distraught herself. It's upsetting, but collapsing over it won't do any good. "That's what mine says, anyway."
